Chocolate Cherry Almond Butter.

I have never been able to get into almond butter.

The reason? It just isn’t sweet enough for me.

And I don’t want to hear any of that mumbo jumbo about how if I really savor the taste, I can find it’s natural sweetness.

Because that is what everyone tells me about vegetables, and that is a blatant lie.

The only way I will ever find vegetables to be sweet, is if I douse them in chocolate fudge sauce.

And I’m sure if I mixed some almond butter with a big glug of chocolate fudge, I would love it, too.

However, I really enjoy almonds, so I wanted to take a jab at trying my own.

I already knew that I don’t particularly enjoy plain almond butter, so I needed to spice it up.

I added a bit of cocoa powder, and a handful of dried cherries from Frog Hollow Farm, which are deliciously fabulous.

Initially, I thought I would need to add some sweetness, such as maple syrup, but the dried cherries did the job.

I appreciate you so much!

I love making my own nutbutter’s at home.

I usually have most ingredients on hand, and it only takes a few minutes.

It is also more economic, and that leaves me more money to buy shoes.

I would starve for a few months for a pair of Christian Louboutin’s.
