Perhaps one of my favorite things to make, this tastes better than any bottled BBQ sauce I’ve found. It’s possibilities or endless. And you can also just eat it off a spoon like I do.
Whole Wheat Orzo with Grilled Chicken and Roasted Veggies
This can be made ahead of time and is delicious served hot or cold.
A burger that is kicked up a notch.
Perfect for marinating steak, chicken or seafood before it hits the grill.
Refreshing with a giant scoop of vanilla bean ice cream.
BBQ Ranch Shredded Chicken Sliders
Who doesn’t love sliders at a party?
Make a party-sized version of this salad. It has bacon.
Start summer with a classic – s’mores!
Parmesan Roasted Potato Wedges
A crispy, crunchy, healthier version of french fries.
Lightened Up Four Cheese Mac and Cheese
This healthier mac and cheese can be made ahead of time and heated right before the party.
What’s more summery than salsa? Just hand me a margarita. Or 6.
Happy Memorial Day!

I’m Jessica and this is where I share my stuff. You will find a balance of healthy recipes, comfort food and indulgent desserts.

Have a great weekend! I have been asked to make sh*t on a shingle…that is how my husband like to celebrate Memorial day. I think I will enjoy a black bean burger instead! Our men and their requests…

I’ll take a little of each, please!
I always want to make so many of your dishes, but with this whole FODMAPs diet it’s so difficult (and that’s the case with most blogs I read). The mac & cheese always makes me drooool.
Pittsburgh was quite an amazing city! We were only there for a bit but I loved crossing the bridge where the three rivers met. So neat!

It all looks amazing. But the 1st one, the bbq sauce. I remember when you posted that, and i wanted it then and still do. I mean who doesnt want smores brownies but i could eat ketchup with a spoon. And sauce. I just hate the sodium in most prepared foods so this one, ahhh, great work.
I hope you’re having a ball! I am on a little packing break…Ugh. So much work.
