Menu: Light Summer Lunch.

You may not think the word ‘light’ belongs anywhere on this blog, but in fact, it does!

I think lunches are fun.

I wish I had more of them – more of them in an outdoor, mid-day, desperate-housewife kind of fashion.


Starter: Watermelon Gazpacho

Salad: Fig, Gorgonzola & Red Onion Salad

Lunch: Seared Scallops with Mango Slaw, Grilled Asparagus with Garlic Vinaigrette

Dessert: Peanut Butter Pretzel Truffles



Summery, light and healthy.

Don’t worry, I haven’t lost my head.

I will share much bacon and butter with you over the next few days.

Hahaha are you quite sure PB Pretzel Truffles are “light and healthy”? Ah yes, of course they are. ;)
