With only a few days to go until Mr. How Sweet and I celebrate our 2 year anniversary, I wanted to share a little tidbit with you.
You know Mr. How Sweet likes steak. And chicken.
And chicken-fried steak.
He loves Nascar, and even moved all of his cars into his room (the garage) for me.
He loves horse racing too. And hockey. And chocolate chip cookies. And closet-eating chocolate chip cookies over the sink while chugging a diet Coke.
But what you don’t know is that he is such a wonderful guy, who has grown as a man and a husband in the last 2 years. He is the perfect guy for me. And most importantly, he is pushing me to follow my dreams.
Oh, and what else you don’t know? He still didn’t move the turkey.
I guess that’s okay. For now.

I’m Jessica and this is where I share my stuff. You will find a balance of healthy recipes, comfort food and indulgent desserts.
<3 so cute!! that is a great photo!!!! love your laugh + smile!

I love this post and the link to the previous one (I’m a newer reader). Hunni and I didn’t live together prior either and I had to convince him that a super man pillow was not appropriate for the bed.

Sweetheart,
Officially, the traditional 2nd anniversary gift is cotton. Unofficially, it’s the Cartier Santos 100 skeleton timepiece (see link – http://www.cartier.us/#/show-me/timepieces/w2020018-santos-100-skeleton-watch) anniversary. If you ship priority mail, it should be here in time for us to celebrate.
And on my travels home, I will stop to get you a 100% cotton “my husband went to Chicago and all he brought me home was this t-shirt” tee. Because I know what a traditionalist you are.

Sweetheart,
PS – when you were mentioning how I’ve grown over the last two years, you failed to mention that my bench has grown as well. 2 years ago I was benching around 225. I was also running a lot. Now that I’ve cut back on the running, my bench has grown to almost 300 pounds.
Forgetting to include that information must have been an oversight.

do you know that when i was little my grandfather & i used to play restaurant. i would take his orders (every minute) and he would pretend to eat them. he would ALWAYS order chicken-fried steak. i had never heard of that and was convinced that he was ordering wrong. so i would always tell him we don’t serve that here. i would leave room come back in again and take his order again and he of course would order “chicken-fried steak”. LOL
