When Bloggers Unite.
Where do they go?
To the grocery store of course.
We are not hard to please.
Ashley came into town with her awesome mom, aunt and cousin, so Abby + her hubby and I met up with them to spend the afternoon together. It went too fast!
Ashley and Abby are two of the most genuine people I have ever met. I just love both girls to pieces. If only Ashley live closer! It had been a little over two months since our last meetup, and we had so much to talk about. I’m pretty sure we could talk for hours on end.
I definitely found it strange at first when bloggers met their “online friends” in real life, but now I really can’t imagine not knowing Ashley and Abby and not having them in my life.
Abby and I had these mini pizzas at Market District and they were really good. Cute too!
Then we parted ways and I came home to a clean kitchen! Thank you, Mr. How Sweet. In celebration of the cleanliness, I broke into some leftover cupcakes and then added some of this to a big mug of hot cocoa.
Mmmmm. Christmas.
Mr. How Sweet and I then tried to take about 50 virtual Christmas card photos in front of the tree to send you, but someone was a little heavy-handed on the liqueur. This is all we ended up with. Oh well.
It has to mean something when two people can’t figure out the self timer on their camera.
‘Tis the season!

Wahhhh! I want us all to live in the same city!!! And why, OH WHY, don’t we see each other more often?!
Love you!
aw that is so cute! thank you for the virtual christmas card!
Hilarious picture! :)
Glad you had a fun time with Ashley and Abby!
Ahh so jealous of your meet up! I think I have more fun with bloggers than any other people I know. “Likes to clean” is definitely a criteria I now have when looking for a hus. You are a lucky gal!
Too cute! I don’t think it’s strange at all to meet your “online” pals. I wish I could meet up with all of mine– especially on the corners of the globe.
And those pizzas? Um…amazing. Yes.
And I get a rush when I go into Kroger; I’d probably cry if I stepped foot in that beautiful marketplace!
so jealous that I live so far away….
Awww, this was soooo sweet!! :) I feel the same way…I was a little out of it too..have been since I got here. Hope I didn’t seem weird! hehe Thanks again for driving up to meet us…it was SO great to see you even though it went too fast, per usual. LOVE the blurry photo of you 2. :)
These ladies seem like the sweetest people ever. That’s so great that you got to spend some time with them today.
Haha, we can NEVER figure out the self timer either. Your pic actually turned out pretty good though. ;)
Those ladies seem awesome :)
Cute pic!
Looks like a great day! My hubby and I tried our Christmas card picture like six times, before we just got fed up, and used a wedding picture!
Awww, how fun!
Aww, the picture came out cute though :)
The pizza and the cupcakes both look amazing. It is kind of funny meeting blog friends in real life but I mean this is the time of people marrying people they meet online, so it’s not so crazy right!
Such a cute picture. I’m thinking of making some hot cocoa tonight. I have ghirardelli mix sitting in my cabinet. Hmm..no godiva liqueur though. :-(
Blogger <3! That should be your picture! With a cupcake!
What a fun meet up! Looks like you’ve made two great friends :)
those pizzas look delicious. love the picture of you and your husband!
You are gorgeous!
I just commented on your home page about the fun I have food shopping with my best friend! Great minds think alike! LOL! :-)
P.S. I love the photo of you and Mr. How Sweet…you are an adorable couple!
Adorable post! So jealous of your blogger meetup!
Aww, you guys are adorable!
You are too funny! You take the best pictures ever and then can’t find the auto-timer. I don’t buy it ;) OK…I do…because that’s something I would do.
On another note, I would like a bite of that cupcake!
ha! hey, nothing like a little extra liquor to kick off the work week…Lord knows that’s what we’ve been having! :)
Aw your meet up looks so fun!! They seem like great people, and so do you! Love the picture of you and Mr How Sweet.
Has anyone told you you have amazing cheekbones? My friend went to New York and all I asked her to bring back was food. From Trader Joe’s. Heh.
I am so happy that you all had such a nice day! They do seem like the sweetest girls, and you know one day I cannot wait to meet YOU!
Godiva liquor…how perfect!
Self timer? No.
Just reach your arms out really long and snap. That’s like 50% of my blog pics…I take them on a hope and a prayer. Snap and pray for the best!
awww looks like fun!! PS Godiva makes liqueur??? Where have I been?
Oh yes they do. It is to die for!
That’s still an adorable photo!
FYI – I made your cake batter bark today. 2 batches in fact. The first one, the layers didn’t stick. Apparently, I suck at following directions. :)
Aw man! What happened?
I don’t know. Maybe its because we used chocolate chips and white chips, but the two layers didn’t stick together. Maybe they weren’t heated enough? They still taste good.
love the last photo! :)
Sounds like a fun meetup. Can’t go wrong with pizza!
I think it’s still a cute pic!
I love blogger meet-ups! If only I knew more bloggers in my area…
Has anyone ever told Mr. How Sweet he looks a lot like the guy who plays Wash on Firefly?
Never heard that one! But he has got Daniel Craig and Owen from Grey’s Anatomy a lot.
Ah, I miss you guys! Looks like a wonderful blend outing!
Your picture is perfect. I don’t like those pretentious posed ones anyways ;)
Great pics … and Market District is a fab place to meet up. Giant Eagle pizza is the first pizza my bf and I fell in love with when we moved to the ‘burgh and began our pursuit of a favorite pizza.
Enjoy your holiday :)
p.s. I’m bringing the Cake Batter Bark to the midwest!
I hope everyone loves it!
I would probably go to the grocery store too, love, love grocery stores. If ever you are in Chicago I could be your guide to the most beautiful whole foods ever. I mean, the store has not one but two bars.
