The Husband is absolutely NOT allowed to go to the store. He came home with chips (we already have 3 bags), Smores Cereal (disgusting) and soda. Oh, and an economy sized package of kleenex.
I laughed out loud when I read this post! My husband comes back from the store with random things (usually too many granola bars), too! He has never come home with 12 bags of brown rice, though…although I will never say never! :-)
That Uncle Ben’s rice is good, but I am scared to microwave it in the package as directed. I don’t microwave anything in plastic or covered in plastic wrap (I am concerned about BPA). I dump the rice into a microwave safe bowl cover it with wax paper or a paper plate before microwaving.
Also- I love the Trader Joe’s frozen brown rice…have you tried that yet? Being a TJ’s lover, you probably have!
My husband came home with 5 boxes of cereal to add to his other 3 and a gallon of milk a couple of weeks ago. Nevermind the long grocery list of items we really needed. Oh, and we dont have any children, just us two and cereal!!
LOL! Sending my husband to the store results in many many things we don’t need, but that I end up eating because he brought them home (boxes of Entemann’s donuts, Naked juices, a new candy bar etc…)!
hahaha! That is so random and funny. I love when you tell us what he brings back from the store.

I would ask if he’s afraid of going hungry…but my pantry looks very similar.

LOL…Ryan is obsessed with those instant rice packets. What is the deal?! :-)

Omg I buy that rice sometimes as a “treat” for Scott. I make all kinds of things with it and it’s soooo convenient.
Can’t wait to see what you make. Mr Sweet is clearly hinting for something with all those bags!

My boyfriend goes through those things like it’s his job. He and Mr. How Sweet should start a brown rice club.

At least it wasn’t a used Bible from the pew.
Seriously, we need to start a new blog called:
