Double Fudge Oreo Crunch Cookies.
Need a last minute Valentine’s Day treat?
I really consider these an anytime treat, but they work for tonight too! Or tomorrow. Or Monday. Or next week. Or everyday.
The dough is impossible to stay out of. Up your raw egg tolerance for this.
See? Impossible.
Scooping out golf ball sized dough balls is the best way to go.
Serve with a big glass of cold milk!
Did you know that I have always despised milk? It has grossed me out since I was young. Don’t even get me started on those of you who slurp up the milk at the end up your cereal bowl. Yuck. I have chills just thinking about it.
But these cookies cast a spell on me.
All I could think about was a glass of milk! Preferably chocolate, but I didn’t have any. So I made do with the regular ole’ stuff.
Sometimes things don’t go as planned. Like this.
Oh well. Just slurp it up.
Can I convince you to make these today? I think you must. If you know what’s good for you, you will.

Double Fudge Oreo Crunch Cookies
makes about 30 cookies
1 cup butter, at room temperature
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups flour
1/2 cup cocoa powder
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup chocolate chips
1 cup crushed Oreo cookies
Cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla until fluffy. Add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt and mix until combined.
Fold in chocolate chips and crushed oreos. Refrigerate dough for 2-4 hours (or more). When ready to bake, preheat oven to 350, roll into balls or scoop with an ice cream scooper and set on baking sheet.
Bake at 350 for 10-12 minutes. Let cool completely.

As you can tell, we really hated these. They were just disgusting.

These look truly amazing!! Oreo’s are my favorite :)
You are one busy lady ;)
Oreos make so many things better. Last night I dipped Oreos in leftover melted chocolate. Now I want to make these cookies!
I love oreos dipped in chocolate too! Mmmm.
Yeah, I think I’d hate those too ;)
Easy and delish!
A love that you made a cookie out of a cookie- that is awesome! I can’t stand milk either. Ick.
Isn’t it cute that we are baking for Valentine’s Day?! I’ve just posted a Raspberry and White Chocolate Cheesecake on my blog for the same occasion. Anybody would think that these men have got us all domesticated!
Don’t these cookies look super duper scrumptious! I’d like to make these and dip them in my Oreos-n-Cream peanut butter from SPREAD!
And then wash it all down with a glass of chocolate milk:)
Hold on, I have to loosen my pants a little after reading this. Good grief…these are heaven on top of heaven with a cherry on top! YUM!
I want to make these this weekend – but I’m not sure about the pomegranate juice?
Oops! Sorry ’bout that. These are the same cookies as my double fudge pom one. Forgot to take it out of the instructions… it’s out now! :)
Yum!! I can imagine how good these would be just like they are, dipped in milk, or even dipped in chocolate.
My kids will go nuts over these!
Oh yum. I know what I’m making tomorrow…once I get some Oreos!
I don’t know why, but these Oreo cookies remind me of these cookies:

Ever tried them? They might be your thing. You could add bacon…
I cannot even tell you the last time I had an oreo of any kind. Part of that makes me sad, and part of that makes me happy because I used to destroy boxes of them by the sleeve.
That looks amazing! I love the picture of the milk saturated within the cookie…that’s always the best. :-p I’m definitely baking today. Thanks for the inspiration!
Oh wow, cookies made of other cookies. These look fantastic, now if I can just find some kind of meta milk to dunk them in…
I have to say, that lovely little ball of raw cookie dough looks just as inviting to me as the finished product! YUM!
yay! this will be my reward after my four mile run :)
I have always hated milk too! Yuck! I’ve tried to drink it straight but it makes me gag. I do like almond and soy milk though, thank goodness, because these cookies definitely scream “dunk me!”
I’m pretty sure if I made these I would make myself sick eating the raw batter. I have no will power.
oh i have some mint jo jo’s i need to use up, i think those might make these double fuge oreo cookies even better. btw, your milk should have gotten a little chocolaty if you dipped enough cookies in it:D
Delicious! A perfect treat for any day!
The name in itself is enough for you to go weak at the knees!
Ohhhhh – these look incredible. I’m such a sucker for Oreos!
I have been thoroughly convinced that these must be made as soon as I can manage to buy a package of Oreos without eating the whole thing on the way home from the store!
I’ve definitely been known to pour a glass of milk to dunk the cookies in…and then pour out MOST of the remaining milk when I’m done! You have to be careful though because at the very bottom of the glass, there’s always leftover mushy cookie that you don’t want to pour out with the milk ;)
I’m a milk hater too, though I do make an exception for cookies from time to time :) My husband would love these, I need to try them!
These look great, but I’d prob sub in Newman’s Own oreos-think that would work?
Love me some milk and cookies but I agree with you about slurping outta the cereal bowl…just plain icky.
Definitely!

I have never liked Oreos, but you may have just convinced me to give them a second try with this recipe!
Now you’ve totally got me thinking about what other cookies you could add to dough. How about crumbled Nutter Butter cookies in brownies, or ginger snaps in oatmeal raisin? Fabulous idea Jessica!
Now we’re talking.
It’s a cookie inside a cookie? What more could cookie monsters want?
These look like cookies ‘n cream ice cream in cookie form. I think you just blew my mind.
Yummy! These cookies look absolutely wonderful!!!! =D
My goodness. I NEED to know. How many of those do you eat? How on earth do you stay so slim? PLEASE tell me, I neeeeed to know! Srsly. If I ate all the stuff that’s on your blog I’d be either living in the gym or not eating anything else. I know my mouth is watering as soon as I think of your blog…
:) greetings from Sweden
Oops, sorry. I just found my answers in your FAQ. :)
Oh my gosh, Jessica…you are killing me with all of these amazing cookie recipes! This one I am making today!
These look amazing. I love oreos. What a great idea to put them in chocolate cookies!

You’ve already upped my egg tolerance, don’t you worry ;)
Those look soooo good! :D I have a batch of your New York Times Cookies chilling in the fridge, so excited to try them! My husband was begging me to make them last night after I mixed them up…but I said no!! I want the full effect! :)
Hahah! I’m so proud of you for having patience. ;)
This is incredible..love love the photos, stunning and yummy!
these are INCREDIBLE. I’d add some pb somewhere though if it were me… haha (parent trap reference!)
Love that movie.
Win! Win! Oh my gosh, so much win!
I am an Oreo addict, which is exactly why they aren’t allowed in my house :)
No joke, I’m sending the boy to get groceries right now so I can make these today! Can. Not. Resist.
As a side note I’ve also always hated milk! I don’t get how it’s appealing at all…
Let me know how you like them!
So this first batch isn’t even out of the oven and i’ve already consumed at least 1 cup of dough. this is bad news in the best way.
If I wanted to make these as a bar cookie, how long do you think I should bake them for? (Let’s say an almost 9×13 pan)
I usually bake this cookie in bar form at 325 for about 25-30 mins!
I love all the dirty things people are doig with Oreo’s these days.
My jaw just dropped….because I didn’t know anything could really look SO good.
Thanks girl! ;)
oh YUM! I also HATE drinking up the milk at the end of the cereal bowl…and I was always told I was the weird one for this! Psshh.
Yuck.
You know how these should really be served? Broken up over ice cream. With your hot fudge sauce.
Possibly chocolate ice cream? And whipped cream.
And a brownie!!
i really disklike oreos on their own but in cookies in recipes in cakes…BRING IT ON!!!!
I’m not a huge milk fan either but milk and Oreo’s go hand in hand. :-)
Wow.. THESE look amazing. I am having a cooking date with my fiancee and we def are going to have to make these!! LOVE your blog!
