I do this all the time! Maybe it’s subconscious and I’m doing it on purpose without realizing, but I have NO grace when it comes to opening wine. I usually make Nick do it for me!
But a great way to start the weekend :)

That exact thing happened to me last night! We were already planning on drinking the whole bottle though, so we really didn’t mind that much. :-D

This is why I love my super easy corkscrew… I put it on top of the bottle, push the lever down and pull it back up. Otherwise my corks would look like this because I am terrible with a corkscrew!

that happens to me EVERY time I open a bottle. fail. I don’t always drink the whole bottle though. sometimes I save it for the following night ;)

That happened to me a week ago and somehow red wine ended up on my ceiling. It’s still there by the way. Enjoy the vino!

I hate (read: giggle and enjoy it) when that happens. Except, of course, it’s then harder to sniff the cork, which might be my favourite part…

That’s all it takes to make sure you “have” to drink the whole bottle? If only I had known. The worst though is when it breaks with half of it in the bottle. I hate that.
