Man Food.

I was up bright and early this morning to prep some food for the coming week. Unfortunately Mr. How Sweet can’t go on vacation with us; I can work from anywhere, but he can’t leave this week. I feel so bad that he can’t come so I threw together some quick freezer meals that he can eat all week for lunches and dinners.

Chicken enchiladas.

Crispy Buffalo Chicken Fingers.

Bite Sized Baked Meatballs… that aren’t so bite sized. I was lacking the main ingredient: patience.

Total man food.

On another note, thank you all so much for your wonderful comments on Winnie! I saw her last night and she seems to be getting back to herself and is currently 50+ hours seizure free. She normally stays on a big farm with a friend when we go away, that way she can run around and play with other dogs and not be stuck in a cage all day. But since she is under instructions not to exert herself, my parents are going to stay with her for a few days extra to make sure she is okay, then join us later.

What are you doing on this lovely Saturday?

MAN FOOD! I want, I want! Your husband is a lucky ass man. And I say that from my own perspective, not my boyfriend’s perspective…I want all of that! Although, I’m sure my boyfriend would say the same thing. Thanks for inducing me into my first food porn coma of the day. Much appreciated. I’m hungry now. I kind of want those meatballs for breakfast.

Glad to hear Winnie is on the road to recovery. God forbid, if anything happened to my doggie, I’d be a wreck!

As for the man food…is it bad if every single one looks delicious to me?! Especially those Buffalo Chicken Tenders…YUM! :-D

Yep, my hubby would be jealous! I am going to have to try those chicken fingers – they look amazing! BTW – I usually lack patience when it comes to tiny meatballs too – I would totally have Italian Wedding Soup more than 2-3 times a year if I didn’t!

Damn, if you weren’t already taken, I’d ask you to marry me! Mini-meatballs = true love.

So glad to hear she’s on the mend. I’ll keep my fingers crossed that pattern continues :) And isn’t it so funny you wonder what a guy would eat when you’re not there to cook for them? I think the kids and hubs would survive on sandwiches alone if I were gone.

Haha is it a bad sign that all that man food looks like delicious “for me” food? Mmmmm.. I need to make enchiladas. I keep talking about making them for my boyfriend, and then I chicken out. Considering yours look so amazing, i’m going to have to give it a go sooner rather than later.

I am so happy to hear that Winnie is feeling better. Oh, the power of prayer! :-)

All of these recipes look amazing, and Mr. How Sweet is a very lucky man! Jessica- there is no link to the chicken enchilada recipe (and it looks different from the one in your recipe archives). Is it the same recipe with a TON more cheese? ;-)
