I’m going to be here!
I can hardly contain myself.
I’m going to drink a margarita a day, reading 8000 books and maybe only shower in the lake. Weeeee!
But as of right now I am down on my hands and knees scrubbing my kitchen floor which in my opinion, is something only 11-month pregnant ladies and grandmas do. I’m neither. [as far as I know.]

I’m Jessica and this is where I share my stuff. You will find a balance of healthy recipes, comfort food and indulgent desserts.
So jealous, so very jealous. Have a blast!

Hurray!!! I’m going to be on a lake in Michigan this weekend too. Hopefully the humidity isn’t as bad as it was when I was there last weekend. Yes. I flew back on Sunday and I’m headed back north Saturday.
Economical is the first word that comes to mind.

Have a great time! Be sure to sing “All Summer Long” by Kid Rock…I love that song. I wish he would release this song on Itunes! I realize that he is much older than you are, but the song is about summertime in Northern Michigan! :-)

LOL! Of course I know that song Kim! Kid Rock isn’t THAT much older than me. ;) And guess what? 4 years ago we DID see Kid Rock in Michigan. He was with hockey player Chris Chelios and a bunch of blondes with giant boobs hanging out. Go figure!

Kid Rock with a bunch of blondes with giant boobs hanging out? That is EXACTLY what I would expect! :-) I still love that song, though! Have fun!

I live in Michigan, so yay for showing us some love! As long as you visit in the summer, spring or fall, you’re totally allowed to be in love with the state. If you stop by during winter, chances are profanity will fly like the 100 inches of snow.
Have fun!

Have an awesome time – I’m jealous! I spent my summers in Northern Michigan at my Gram’s house in Central Lake and Barnes Park on Lake Michigan. I so miss the area up there! If only I could convince the boyfriend to move back to MI… :)

Thank you for reminding me is SNICK!
Reply
Bah! Jealous of your trip! I’m from Michigan and moved to Florida after graduating college 2 years ago and would LOVE to be back there right now. I miss it!
Also, if you do actually want to watch SNICK again…this week they just started replaying old episodes of All That, Clarissa Explains in All, Kenan and Kel, and Doug on TeenNick starting at midnight!! Should I be ashamed that I’m a 20-something watching TeenNick? Probably. But I’m ok with that :)

The chocolate chip things look INSANE. I say “things” because it looks like a gigantic round dough ball cookie muffin??
