Some of My Favorite Nantucket Things. {a giveaway!}
If you follow along on instagram then you’ve already got a big (over)dose of the past five days that I spent in Nantucket.
I never wanted to leave. absolutelyinlove.
We were there working with Pavan for the annual Nantucket Film Festival and it was simply a blast. I’m going to tell you all about that in more posts to come (complete photo overload on it’s way) and I can’t wait to share what we did and most importantly: WHERE WE ATE. Even if it rained the entire freaking time. Seriously. The entire time.
Then we came home to solid downpours. It just follows me.
In the meantime, I went on a few adventures in Nantucket in search of some cool local products that I could share with you since I couldn’t frolic on the beach in my downtime. That included spending a good chunk of time in the bakery (shocker), the local farmer’s market on saturday morning (omg, love!) and a bunch of boutique-y shops. My absolute favorite was called ambrosia (I think they have an actual website, but I can’t get it to load), which is an artisan chocolate, spices and tea store. You don’t even want to KNOW what I came home with. I’m going to tell you soon anyway, but it consists of wonderful things like merlot salt, rose powder and organic dark chocolate cocoa nib hot cocoa mix.
Ugh. So good.
Since we all fell in love with so much of this incredible local stuff, Pavan offered to give away some of my local favorites to six of you. We are giving away treat bags with some goodies from ambrosia, tafari organics (I bought hibiscus syrup from there… omg), embody (all natural bath and body products), petticoat row bakery and small town girl.
I enjoyed everything in Nantucket so much, but especially loved the local culture. It reminded me a lot of Northern Michigan… and if you’ve been following along for a few years, you know we are there every summer and it’s my favorite place in the world.
If it wasn’t for my nostalgia and family ties, Nantucket would rival it. Totally serious. We want to go back every summer.
To enter the giveaway, simply leave a comment on this post below.
For extra entries, you can like Pavan on facebook and follow them on twitter or instagram (which, by the way, I’m obsessed with since it’s so beachy and dreamy… it’s so ME) and leave a comment saying you did so.

P.S. so much more Nantucket info to come. Man I loved that place.

Hi! I live on Nantucket! So glad you got to visit our lovely little island. Petticoat Row is one of our absolute FAVORITE places! They did our cupcakes for our wedding a few years ago. Tina and Don are so wonderful. We usually visit them on Saturday mornings for treats while we walk in town. What restaurants did you try out while you were here?! You can’t really go wrong, all of the food everywhere is amazing! Town is one of my favorites! :)
Would LOVE to try these items all out!

Oooh, ooh, ooh, COMMENT COMMENT.
In a non-desperately-trying-to-win-a-giveaway way – I had no idea Nantucket was such a neat place! I guess all those episodes of Wings I watched in the 90’s just didn’t show the awesomeness. ;-) Your post made me want to go there. RIGHT NOW. And your slew of Pavan posts lately has made me desperate to get my hands on some – I hope they send it to all us backwater towns soon… :-)
