August Favorites: Beauty.
I love the end of the month now.
Only because it means I can talk about all of my beauty obsessions and pretend like people care. Indulge me, if you will.
I don’t think I have anything to ramble about, so I will leave the rambling for the actual details. Let’s go.
First up, lips.
I’m pretty sure this revlon balm stain in cherish is the only lip color that I’ve been consistently in love with for such a long period of time. I’ve been talking about this shade for months and actually WEARING it for months. Not a week goes by that I don’t put this on. It’s still my go-to color.
And since we are coming up on Fall, I had a let’s-use-all-your-summery-colors surge and dug through my lipsticks to find MAC’s st. germain. I love this shade but was a little too scared to wear it last summer. It’s one of those things that you have to play with, but luckily cool tones work with my skin and eyes. I find that I like this best when I just “dot” it on my lips as opposed to rubbing it all over. If I rub it, it looks a bit too Nicki Minaj-ish, which I just can’t pull off. This color is actually sooo similar to the balm stain too – just a touch more lilac/purpley. I find it’s so light that it works better with a smoky eye or thick liner and neutral shadow. We’ll get to that later.
I’ve been topping both of these with the gloss I discovered last month. Most gorgeous combos.
Next, blush! So at the beginning of the month, tarte had their 30% off friends + family sale. On top of getting another one of my favorite brushes ever, I got one of these maracuja airblush blushes. I’ve been all about cream or gel blushes this year and absolutely love this shade. Comes as no surprised though considering I freak out over all things tarte. Especially blush.
No more blush for me though. Blush binge is over until I use what I have.
GAH. Okay. So if you’re a makeup junkie like myself, you know marc jacobs released a line this month. I wanted to hate it. I didn’t even want to try it. Honestly, I figured it might not be all that great.
I was so wrong. The first thing I bought was the black felt-tip liner thing on top. If you’ve been reading then you know I don’t really like liquid or felt liners and prefer gel pencils. However, occasionally I like to do some neutral shadow, mascara, precise black liner and a bright lip like MAC candy yum yum or maybelline shocking coral. I have tried a ton of black liner pens – mostly from drugstore brands – and just think they stink. THIS IS THE BEST BLACK LINER I HAVE EVER USED. I just feel the need to shout it.
Since I loved that so much, I also picked up this gel liner. I also really like this (so smooth) but am slightly disappointed that it doesn’t come off as the bright purpleish/blue on the packaging. It’s a bit darker. Oh well.
The thing is that I am a purple freak. You will see that as you continue to read. Ever since I read in Seventeen or YM or some magazine over 20 years ago that purple shadow compliments green eyes, I’ve never stopped. Purple is my go-to shade and I always find a way to work it into my eyes. Just you wait…
Before I go on my purple binge, these are the other liners I’ve been wearing – of course, two of my fave urban decay 24/7 pencils in empire and invasion. Not new, but still favorites. Have I gone one beauty post without talking about those? Probably not. They have been my most consistently used product overall for years. Which is huge. In case you haven’t noticed, I sort of have makeup ADD.
One of my favorite new products this month is this smashbox shadow stick pencil thing in shimmering ivy. I’ve been using it to do an easy smoky eye with no actual shadow – just the stick and the smudger end. When they say this is waterproof, it really is waterproof. Immediately after drawing it on, it sets so quickly that it’s difficult to smudge! Love this and want it in more colors.
K. HELLO lover.
I’m convinced that one of the best things of all time is colored mascara. I believe that it can totally be pulled off and not be so 80s-esque if done properly. I like butter london polishes and earlier this month, they released a whole makeup line at ulta with stunning mascara colors. You might remember that last year I talked about my infatuation with the YSL purple mascara (also have it in burgundy – so pretty) – I finished it up and have not had a purple mascara in my hands for a few months.
I will say – I think the YSL versions are fabulous and wearable for every day. They are very mild but draw just the right amount of attention to your eyes with the color. BUT. I freaking love how bright this butter one is. I use regular mascara and then will wipe the wand off and lightly tap it against my lashes for a bit of color. It doesn’t look like you are wearing full-on bright purple mascara, but it definitely looks like something is going on. The only downside is that if you did want to wear this as regular mascara – i.e. use it on bare lashes with the actual brush – the brush and the formula and kind of… goopy. It doesn’t seem to evenly distribute on the wand.
Works for how I’m using it though… and the hot pink is probably next on my list.
As a note, for those of you that are afraid to wear colors like this but want to? You just gotta own it. Know it’s not for everyone but if you like it? Go for it.
See? Purple binge.
The first color may not look too purple, but it is so difficult to photograph. It’s MAC’s pressed pigment in moth and it’s actually a lighter pinkish-purple-gray shade. It’s really pretty but REALLY sparkly, so you’ve been warned.
The second color is just a sephora brand eyeshadow – the color is purple casino. Unfortunately, I think it is sold out as I can’t find a link. This shade of purple is my favorite shadow to wear – whether it’s on the lid or used as a liner under my eyes. Freaking love it.
Now.
I hate myself for even talking about these. I cannot believe this is happening.
However, this is a favorites post and if I am being 100% honest with you, these are the mascaras I have worn the most this month. As a disclaimer, I should say that since the benefit they’re real mascara came out, I’ve been bashing it. I hated it. I mean – HATED. Hated as in it was the worst mascara I’ve ever tried. Hated it as in if somebody was talking about it on twitter or instagram, I had to comment and flip out and say it sucked. So hear me out.
At the end of July I was traveling a bit and had packed all of my makeup in my suitcase. I woke up and wanted to use a bit of mascara – but it was packed and in the car. I found the benefit they’re real, which is probably a year old, but has not been opened more than two or three times, and went for it. It made my lashes look the longest they had ever looked. I have VERY short, straight lashes. This was crazy. I went on my trip – used the mascara I took with me – but couldn’t stop thinking about the they’re real until I got home.
I tried it once again. Amazing length, again. I have no real interest in volume, just length. So I couldn’t believe it. Then I remembered that back when the rocket mascara came out, I bought it since people were raving. Tried it at the time, hated it at the time. It dawned on me that the rocket brush was very similar to the they’re real brush. So I took both out and tested them out for days. They have been my go-to combo for weeks  – first a coat of the rocket, then a coat of the they’re real.
But here’s the deal: I’ve decided that these mascaras only work for me after they’ve really dried out. The mascara is super wet and thick when they are new, which weighs down my lashes and does nothing. But after opening them a few times and exposing the wand/formula to air, they dry out. This is the only way I’ll use them. Another thing – as you know, I love to wear fake lashes. I don’t wear full strips, just the single clusters in the corner of my eyes. These mascaras don’t work at all for the false lashes for me – they still weigh them down and straighten them out. So I still use my old favorites.
I can’t say yet that I will re-buy these… I’ll have to see once they are finished.
Longest story ever.
One more part to that story – even though the benefit mascara isn’t waterproof, it is a PAIN to get off. Some of my favorite makeup wipes and cleansers will not remove every last bit. So I’ve been using the MAC cleanse off oil on days that I wear that mascara (or a lot of eye makeup in general) and love it. You just rub a little together between your fingers, rub it all over your eyes (literally) and it breaks down everything. It’s awesome. Anyone know of anything similar to this that I could get at Target or something?
Next up – I tried out the new Trader Joe’s makeup remover wipes. I freaking love wipes and use them for everything. These are pretty great – nothing out-of-this-world but I was more impressed than I thought I’d be. I won’t be using these consistently since TJ’s is fairly far from me… and I am happy with my Olay + Simple wipes. But overall, these were good.
Gotta give another shout out to this body butter. UGH. So good. I’ve really been trying to ration it this month but can’t help to want to use it after every shower. It is by far my favorite body butter in the entire world.
First of all, I’ve always hated hair spray and products in general because my hair is so long that it inevitably makes it all tangly. But with my curling wand, I need a little spray. I’ve been using the loreal elnett for a few months but – ugh – cannot STAND the scent. I mean, it lingers all day long and would actually make me sick. I love the spray (yes, I know that there is an unscented version… Â still not a huge fan) but wish they could do something about that, especially since it has a UV filter. Above is the next best thing I’ve found.
As for nail stuff, I’ve rediscovered this deborah lippman mermaid’s dream polish that I got last summer. It’s funny – last summer I put it on and thought it appeared too “holiday-y.” Then around Christmas time, I tried it again and thought it was too “summery.” I sort of find myself back at the same debate, so I think it works best as an accent nail.
Finishing up for summer… essie marshmallow and revlon heavenly. Pretty together!
That’s all for now. If I had the time and patience, I’d probably do my makeup full-out three times a day because I’m a lunatic.
What are you loving this month? Share, share, share!
[As usual, none of this post is sponsored and none of these companies know who I am. I only blog about this makeup stuff because I freaking love it and want to tell someone about it.]

Okay, so I have both of those mascaras and I never thought to use them together! I must try this tomorrow. I love the Benefit one so much, I had used the full size I had and recently got a sample size, and I love it!
I really want one of the Marc Jacobs eye shadow palates. I really have been loving his new fragrance Honey. So good.
I am so, so glad you said that about the They’re Real! I got a sample and HATED it, too! Hated! I threw mine away, but now maybe I’ll buy some, let it sit for a year and try again. :) Ha! Also, it made my eyelashes fall out. Not good.
I love purple, too! Have you seen the purple sparkle Bobbi Brown eyeshadow? Well, darn….it looks like it was seasonal:
http://shop.nordstrom.com/s/bobbi-brown-lilac-rose-collection-sparkle-eyeshadow/3473946
I have it, never wear it, but I just love to look at it in my makeup bag. Next time I see you, you can borrow it. ;)
gah! the whole eyelash-falling thing out makes sense because it seems like it’s waterproof. if you try it again, get some of that cleanse off oil because it is the ONLY thing i have found that gently and safely removes it without ripping out my lashes.
and that eyeshadow… YES.
That’s so funny that you say that about They’re Real. I feel that way about almost ALL mascara for some weird reason. And with the They’re Real, I buy the tiny travel sizes of it (because I can’t rock my fake falsies ALL the time, ya know?) and I tend to go like a week or so between uses of it and then continue to use it for months (awful…unhealthy…i know i know). But I love it more and more the older it gets! Totally agree!!
Also, have you tried the Josie Maran Coconut Water Gel Blush??? OBSESSED. For like a million reasons. Just do it.
yes! have one, love it.
Love love love!! Okay, but I’m not brave enough to do purple though. maybe I am? Not sure…
Love all these products! We use the same mascara :)
Have you tried Albolene? It’s seriously the only thing that gets off every last bit of makeup. It’s inexpensive and lasts forever too!
http://www.albolenecleanser.com/Pages/Albolene_Home
Love this post. That Marc Jacobs pen liner looks incredibly precise. I love a precise, precise tip and they are hard to find. I use Mac’s liquid liner but you have to have a super steady hand b/c it’s very unforgiving if you’re shaky, at all. But for the price, it lasts forever and delivers. But now I want the Marc J one.
The purple Butter mascara. Wow. I want that. It’ll remind me of being in jr. high. I used to wear that color, to school, in 7th grade. lol
And the Tjs wipes. Wow. I have never even noticed them. Will check them out.
The Mac Cleanse-Off is amazing but most any cheap drugstore or grocery store aisle remover that’s oil-based works well for like 3.99 for a big bottle. I will just pour on a baby wipe and wipe off. It works just as good as the Mac stuff. You can also add a touch of coconut oil, too. That’s a nice little twist :)
When you do buy blush again, you need to try La Prairie’s Cellular Radiance blush. I know random but it will legit change your life. It gives you cheekbones you never knew you had. Pricey but lasts forever.
Concerning a cheaper version of MAC Cleanse Off Oil… sometimes, I just use oil to remove my eye make-up. Straight-up canola works great, as does olive oil and tea tree oil. I think I started using it when I ran out of eye make-up remover and freaked out, but it’s an awesome substitute. Better than some eye make-up removers, actually.
And Clinique Take the Day Off is pretty amazing too, although in a less… oily way.
I also like clinique’s rinse-off eye makeup solvent (it comes in a bluish bottle). I don’t like oily removers, so it’s perfect.
You can also use face moisturizer to take off your makeup in a pinch. I use it when I don’t want to carry makeup remover with me on trips.
I’m a makeup scaredy cat (and totally a novice)… maybe next time you could post pics of yourself wearing the products so we can see what they look like actually on someone? I think that might be the scariest part of buying makeup, having no idea what it is going to look like on a human instead of in a package.
So my friend convinced me to get They’re Real and I’ve had mixed feelings about it. It’s super heavy and REALLY hard to take off, like you said. Plus, it gets clumpy sometimes if I use the wand vertically (like the packaging suggests). Have you tried the Almay oily remover wipes? Those work pretty well for me if I press them on my eyelid/lashes for a good ten seconds and then wipe.
Also, love tarte blush too! I’ll have to check that one out next time I’m at Sephora :)
I’m using the rocket mascara these days, and I’m glad it’s not just meet that thinks it’s super wet. Like the dark, bold color though.
OMG I couldn’t agree more with your mascara story. I have also found that both those mascaras work best once they’ve dried out.
Seeing all this makeup wants me to see it on! I was wondering if next time you could show some pictures of the mascara when it’s on so we could see how it looks! :)
Absolutely LOVE hearing thoughts about different makeup!
I’ve been using MAC paint pots a good bit lately and really like them. I have got to try that Marc Jacobs liner. It looks awesome!
Thanks for sharing Jessica!!! Keep experimenting and telling us about it! ;)
hey can u suggest something that can be applied on legs or hands something thats a bit oily looking…dont know what it is i’v seen it on some people it gives a oily glow to the legs…if you know what am talking about plz inbox me or reply..i guess that could compliment well with some good make up!!!
thanks..
Vaseline makes a cocoa butter baby oil . It has a light golden shade to it and it will give your legs a pretty shine. Make sure you apply over moisturized legs for the shiny effect.
Ahhh I love these end of the month posts!!!! I have verrrrryyy long, thin eyelashes, so I’m always looking for the perfect mascara to make them appear thicker. I use They’re Real but for days when I just want to use a cheapo mascara, I use Essence I <3 Extreme crazy volume mascara (in the pink tube) from ulta. While I'm doing the rest of my makeup, I'll get the tube warm by holding it under my leg and one coat makes my lashes look INSANELY volumized. I really like it.
Sooooo my other beauty faves that I will recommend over and over and over again?! IPSY and JULEP. Ipsy is 10 dollars a month for 5 deluxe sample size or full size beauty products (I got a sample of Urban Decay's new lipstick, which I now LOVE and LimeCrime nail polish, which is amazing.) It is ten dollars a month and it comes in a cute little bag. Guys, sign up. Seriously. I love love love this service. http://www.ipsy.com/?refer=u-hfyqlojtwj5f34h
Julep is 20 dollars, nail polishes and other beauty products. You get to pick your box each month and you can skip your box whenever you want without being charged! Super awesome, beautiful colors and collections! Definitely worth checking out, especially since you have the option to skip a month, so you arent obligated to pay 20 dollars each month. http://www.julep.com/rewardsref/index/refer/id/184696/
Have you tried the L’Oreal Telescopic Shocking Extensions mascara? I love lengthening mascaras, and this one makes my lashes look so long they look false. Something about the brush just really grabs them. I usually layer it over something else… right now it’s one coat of Maybelline The Falsies and then the L’Oreal. Amazing stuff. I also hated They’re Real. It is just too messy for me and flaked everywhere. Maybe I’ll let mine dry out for a few months and re-try it. :) I am also a HUGE fan of that Revlon lip stain.
yes, I completely agree about the benefit mascara! I hated it at first, but as it started to dry out it – now I love it and want another tube! I couldn’t figure out what the change was – def better once it dried out!
love your blog – both recipes + makeup posts! thanks for all the great inspiration!
so interesting — i bought they’re real about 6 months ago and hated it too! i wanted to take it back to sephora but never got around to it. maybe i’ll give it a try again — although i’m so glad i’m not the only one who feels like it’s the biggest pain in the ass to remove. it’s worse than waterproof! ugh. interesting.
after reading this, and a few comments, it seems the ‘they’re real’ has the same general consensus. glad Im not alone..someone recommended to me just plain ol’ coconut oil to get it off, I have yet to try it though.
tarte blushes are my favorite. ONLY ones that last on my cheeks all.day.long.
I wish I had more time to play with my eyes! (I still haven’t mastered a smoky eye!) but that smashbox shadow stick sounds awesome!
Every time I go into sephora I pick up that josie maran lotion and then always put it back..its a liiiiittle pricey for lotion. but boy, you keep saying it and one of these days Im just going to do it!
Love these posts!
Hi, can you start posting some pics of how you have used some of the products..it would be great to see the lipstick or the purple mascara, its hard to picture how great the products are if they aren’t modeled. Just a suggestion, thanks!
ah! I didn’t know Marc Jacobs came out with a makeup line. Must try all the things!
Oh I love Marc Jacobs so I am kind of excited about that liner!! Plus, I am liner newbie and looking for different liners to try! Although, I really suck at putting on any makeup. I have been practicing since you started these post. They inspire me!! But I am still terrible. I need lessons or something! LOL!
A lot of salons offer makeup classes (I know some Aveda salons do) and they will pick colors for you and show you how to do your makeup. Also if you go to Sephora, they will show you how to do some application techniques. ‘You could also go to a Lancôme or Clinque counter and watch them apply your makeup. Same for MAC :) Also, there are a lot of “beauty gurus” on youtube that will show you how to apply makeup. I like MakeupbyTiffanyD, MakeupGeek TV, Jaclyn Hill, and Michelle1218. You can learn to do your makeup :) I promise!
That’s funny about the benefit they’re real mascara — I bought it and hated it for about a week. Then, all of a sudden, I loved it! Not sure why, but it’s my new favorite mascara now!
you are my go to girl for makeup products I never knew I needed. I love these monthly posts… my bank account, not so much ;-) my absolute favorite, trusty, never fails me eye make remover is coconut oil. sounds weird but it works amazing at getting waterproof mascara, eyeliner, & layers of shadow off for me, plus it leaves my skin SUPER soft and moisturized. I just rub a bit between my fingers till it’s liquidy and then gently rub on my eyelids & lashes then wipe off or rinse off with a washcloth as I’m using my facial cleanser… makes a great facial moisturizer too!
I use coconut oil to take off my eye makeup! I know you have some of that laying around lol. And right now I am liking the Anastasia cat walk palette and it has ALOT of purple shades :) I have a weird obsession with Laura Geller products (not so much of her spackle). Have you tried anything from her? And L’oreal makes a mascara called “false lashes” I believe lol its a long square tube and it is very dry and lengthing! I love it!
I love they’re Real! mascara. It is THE BEST, but hard to get off. I usually use Almay wipes which are cheap and work well. I will give the Revlon balm stain a try…you know your stuff! I always enjoy these posts :)
I am totally with you on the purple eye shadow, liner, mascara, etc. I have green eyes and think it enhances them ;)
these are really great things. I definitely want to try the They’re Real Mascara! xx
Martyna | NEON MIZZLE
I read you all the time–do not always leave a comment but immensely enjoy your writing, your subjects, your wit–just know that
Have you tried E.L.F. brand?
I was super judge-y about it because they have items for $1 (What?!) and what could possibly be good for dollar?
However, I picked up a few pieces and in particular I really like their makeup remover.
I also like their eye shadow pallets and their liquid liners.
As for the gold standard in makeup remover, it has to be Clinique Take the Day Off.
PS: I love these posts!
MAC eyeshadow is the best! And now I must go to Sephora!
Ive been trying Sephora brand cleansing oil and its great, does just what you say thr MAC one does …I think it was $12-14 so it may be a cheaper option?? I also hated the rocket mascara at first…only just started to incorporate it back into my life, heres hoping itll dry out a little more!!
I just got the Smashbox Halo long wear blush in Passion and am obsessed! it’s the perfect pink and makes my whole face look brighter! I’ve been wearing it with just moisturizer under, then a long sweep of a Bare Minerals shimmery illuminating pressed powder bronzer up my cheek bones, then the Smashbox on the apples of my cheeks. I’m in love! Also looks great with the Tarte self adjusting lip stain.
I seriously love Josie’s body butter. I can’t get enough of it either…it’s my fave. I hate putting lotion on, but that I use every day and it makes my skin amazing. I have a thing for highlighters–I have way too many. I’m seriously loving Laura Mercier’s spellbound highlighter from her new collection: http://www.lauramercier.com/store/shop/limited%20edition_Face%20Illuminator_prod990008. It is seriously the best ever! It’s just perfect. I’ve been using it nonstop. I’m not sure how I’ll ever go through a whole one, but since it’s a limited edition collection, I may just have to buy another one. Thanks for your beauty posts, as a makeup junky myself, I love ’em!
i have wanted to try this… ugh, now i must get it.
I promise, its so worth the $40 investment. It’s seriously the best highlighter. I’m a fan of Bobbi Brown’s shimmer bricks, Laura’s other highlighters, Tarte, Bare Escentuals, Smashbox … I’m a highlighter junky. This is by far my absolute favorite.
Her Dark Spell collection also has this kohl liner and smokey gray eye shadow stick…I’m dying to try them, too.
Ok so I think we totally had similar childhoods because there are many things you say that are totally the same as me. Like your comment about purple color with green eyes, I totally must have read that same article in ym or seventeen and i still follow those same ideas totdat. totally made me laugh!
I’ve been using Almay’s moisturizing makeup remover wipes with the blue background (not the purple – those are oil-free and don’t work as well) for years and haven’t found anything like them. They aren’t messy and you don’t have to buy cotton balls. Perfect for travel too!
I’m intrigued by the idea of letting a mascara dry out before using it. I always find that mascaras get yucky and clumpy as they dry, but that may not be the case for super wet ones (which I generally avoid). I tried the Benefit mascara once a couple of years ago now I think and hated it and went back and returned it. If I’m going to drop twenty bucks on a mascara it’s going to be Lashgasm. I have been eying the Marc Jacobs collection but have not had the funds for it. I’m a fan of the Up and Up brand makeup remover, but it’s not an oil like the Mac product. Nice picks!

I make my own eye makeup remover, equal parts sweet almond oil, distilled water and witch hazel. It seperates and you have to shake before each use. I was using straight coconut oil, but found it too oily. I googled around and found the above recipe on the net somewhere, I swear by it.
ps – I am new to your blog, totally loving it!!! I’m a fellow makeup junkie. Trying to talk myself out of purple mascara. (I also have green eyes and have a thing for purple eye makeup!)
i am going to try this – thanks!
How crazy that you post this today when, for the first time in my entire life, I’m wearing purple eyeshadow! GlamLifeGuru has an awesome tutorial using a Wet n’ Wild palette that you’d probably love (the tutorial, probz not the palette).
Also, have you tried the Limited Edition Maybelline Great Lash colored mascaras? I’m rreeaally not a huge fan of Great Lash (so wet and a terrible brush) but I wanted to give colored mascaras a shot so I’m curious to hear your thoughts too!
LOVE glam life guru.
You should try the Sonia Kashuk eye makeup remover from Target ;) (http://www.target.com/p/sonia-kashuk-remove-eye-makeup-remover/-/A-10329666). It’s ~$10/bottle. I like it better than the Almay wipes (too oily) and the Lancome remover (just doesn’t work as well).
What is the ‘BigSexy’ bottle in the first pic? Am I missing the review? Ah, I see it and now I NEED(!) to know about it……
gah! i am idiot – forgot to upload that pic, but just fixed it. :)
if you’re mascara obsessed, check out Guerlain’s maxi lash. I just got it and I’m absolutely obsessed. Curious… what did you hate so much about benefit’s they’re real?
i wrote a little about it above, but it just did NOTHING for my lashes – it actually made them look worse. like made them look even shorter than they were and made them point downwards.
totally didn’t see the part where you wrote about needing the formula to dry out before it really starts working – i couldn’t agree more. have a great long weekend!
Have you tried the No.7 mascara line at Target? I bought one recently and LOVE it. It doesn’t smudge during the day and is easily removed. I think I have the extravagant volume one? I know you said you’re not into the volume, but I think they have ones that focus more on length. It’s been a life changer for me. Have you tried anything else in the No.7 line? I don’t recall seeing it in your faves, but I’m also relatively new to these posts.
i haven’t tried anything from that line but i always am intrigued. i will now – thanks!
So Sephora was having a 65% off sale this week and I may have bought 3 of the Urban Decay liners just based on your obsession alone. (They were $6! It was magical!) They should be here today so I can’t wait to try them.
Also, YES to the point about just going for it if you want to wear bright or crazy makeup. People stop me all the time and say how much they wish they could wear bright red / orange / pink lipstick like I do. My secret is to JUST DO IT because people never tell you that you look bad :)
Ohhh I haven’t tried the Tarte Maracuja Airblush blushes yet! I’ll have to check them out!
Revlon Grow Luscious (waterproof in Blackest Black) is my absolute favorite mascara. Everytime I get a new tube, I get a little cocky and think “if this one is THIS great, certainly there’s one that’s even better”! Umm.. except there’s not haha! I LOVE LOVE LOVE this mascara and have been using it for close to 2 years now. Nothing (that i have tried) gives the length and volume (but mostly length) that this one does. If you haven’t tried it, it’s worth it! :)
i only wear purple eyeliner.. so i may have to try these out these purples. right now i use the almay purple liner and love it. plus its cheap :) i heard purple brings out browns, too. i have hazel eyes and i love what it does for them!
