Tuesday Things.

tt-1-46

1. I finally ordered a pumpkin spice latte and did so with skim milk. UGH. I am so done with that. I am no longer participating in skim milk lattes. I don’t do it at home and I’m not doing it when I go out. It’s like putting water in your latte. gah-ross.

2. Sooo… I really want some nude ankle/mid boots. You know? And I was looking for some on the internet on Friday night. And I googled “nude booties.” Yeah. Don’t do that.

3. All I want in my life right now is this arugula and prosciutto eggs benedict.

4. Actually, wait. That’s a lie. What I really want in my life right now is an interior decorator and a stylist. No, not want – NEED. I need those things. I have zero taste in home decor and fashion and basically look like I live in the 80s every single day. In fact, the only thing I might have decent taste in is food… and even that is debatable.

5. Last week I started to make granola bars,  grabbed the cinnamon and shook a ton in to my dough. Only it wasn’t cinnamon. It was chili powder. I then proceeded to spill an entire two cup container of sunflower seeds all over the lazy susan pantry… which if you’re family with one of those things… you have to remove everything to clean something up. Fun day.

6. Not surprised by Dexter. Not at all. So annoyed that with only a few episodes left, Hannah is still in the picture. Why do we care about her? STOP RUINING THIS. So thrilled that Boardwalk is back. Want to live in the 20s. In a few weeks, my life will be complete with the return of Homeland, Eastbound + Down, Nashville and The Walking Dead. And I already don’t have a life. My DVR might blow up.

7. 22 signs you’re addicted to Friends. #2 may be true.

8. What are you having for dinner tonight? I’m making massive mofo taco salads. Yep.

9. Not only am I disturbed at the nonexistence of a bacon emoji… why no taco emoji? Why aren’t we up in arms about this?

I’m being completely serious when I say I google imaged “booties” this morning. (BEFORE reading this) Because I wanted to check on something. But I can’t say what. Never mind.

There are many, many emoticons that don’t exist that make me Sobbytown, USA.

You always pick the best buzzfeed lists, and I will love Friends FOREVER. My kids will watch my old Friends dvds and not whatever silly sitcoms are popular when they get that age. :)

Target has some cute booties right now. I got the “Molly” in taupe recently. Now they are on sale! http://www.target.com/p/women-s-merona-molly-shootie-taupe/-/A-14467641#prodSlot=large_1_18

Re: a stylist, have you tried Stitch Fix? I’m old now (31, sigh) and no longer have time/effort to shop, so they send clothes to me. So far, it’s been fun and is helping me branch out of my style rut.

I am SO STOKED about fall time tv. summer is such a dead zone, I can’t even wait.

there’s a serious lack of mexican-ish emojis…where the tacos and nachos be at?!

speaking of questionable fashion…I may have ordered burgundy “coated wash” skinny jeans this morning. they are kind of shimmery. I also just bought a leopard print chiffon top with a leather collar…I plan on wearing them together. I don’t know what I’m doing.

Whenever I hear U2’s “With or without you,” I think of Ross trying to apologize to Rachel when she finds out about The List he made comparing her and Julie’s pro’s and con’s. He calls the radio station, they play it and then stop it halfway through once Rachel calls to tell them what Ross had done.

And don’t get me started on the “we were on a break” episodes.

If you’re looking for a stylist, you might wanna try this subscription package where women can be sent some clothes/jewelry/etc, and you can choose what you wanna keep and what you wanna send back. I found out about this a couple days ago and have been sharing with so many people ’cause it seems like a really cool subscription service. Hope it helps!

My DVR is also close to blowing up. I also watch “The Newsroom” on HBO with Jeff Daniels. LOVE IT!
I saw a Season 4 preview of the Walking Dead recently and, how shall I put this? INTENSE is the only word that comes to mind.
Also a big Homeland fan- love Claire Danes.
Netflix FINALLY added Season 2 of Revenge. I posted on their Facebook page that I finished Season 1 before the dawn of mankind. The next day, I received an email alert that Season 2 was now available. Nice!
Grey’s Anatomy is going to lead up to Cristine having another breakdown- then that’s how she’ll leave the show.
Seriously, can’t get enough of Nashville. Deacon is the epitome of sexy.
I have seen the entire run of Friends at least 10 times (maybe more, I lost count.) I don’t even apologize for it. :)

You crack me up. I don’t drink milk (in general), but I can somewhat relate to the pumpkin spic latte comment. I made homemade almond milk this week and there is no comparison between homemade and store bought. Homemade= creamy, frothy, and rich. Store bought = tastes like cardboard & too watery OR gummy (depending on brand). Now I’m addicted though and am already on my 3rd batch in 4 days. Whoopsies!

And welcome to your first PSL of the season. I posted my first pumpkin recipe today. Gosh, people start so early and I felt like I was already late to the party so did it!

Your spill and your cinnamon/chili powder confusion. Omg that would happen to me. My mom apparently thought one day she was reaching for a big glass of milk on the sink and actually chugged some Ivory dishsoap. This is a story from the 70s that she still tells :)
