Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!Â
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. definitely seeing one of my favorite artists 5 times in 8 days — between napa, san francisco, tahoe and vegas
Making two happy trips back to my hometown to see family absolutely made this summer amazing!
Best part of my summer? Definitely moving back to Pittsburgh and FINALLY getting to be with my soulmate and love of my life (we’d been doing long distance for almost a year).
My husband and I roadtripped from Portland, Oregon to Morrison, Colorado to see one of our favorite bands perform at the king of concert venues: Red Rocks Amphitheater. The view from the top took my breath away and the show was phenomenal!
By far, it was sitting on the balcony at the beach, margarita in hand.
We had an amazing cocktail/bar food pairing a couple weekends ago, the good was so fresh and delicious, the drinks were perfect, such a perfect summer dinner!
Getting to spend my birthday with my live-far-away sister & twin nieces – nothing like a sister!!!! Nothing like my little cutie pies!
sitting at the beach with my two kids!
My most magic moment was a very short weekend getaway with some girlfriends to Kiawah Island, SC. After driving through a crazy storm to get to the house where our friend was staying, we spent 2 beautiful days hanging out on the beach, visiting some shops, and just mostly doing a lot of nothing which is what I was in desperate need of. And we got free champagne from a bartender friend to top it all off!!! :)
My favorite memory from this summer was being in my best friends wedding! I recently turned 22 and wedding fever has just begun but it was a blast getting to be a part of her big day!!
I also pre-ordered your book! (The day pre-ordering was first annouced…. :D)
My favorite moment was spending time with my sister and cousins.
aaaaaaand I just preordered the book. w00T! I really can’t wait to see it – I’m sure it’s absolutely gorgeous and full of wonderful recipes that I’ll want to all make right away.
My favorite thing was starting to run for fitness. I’m starting to like it!
definitely getting engaged on our roof deck!
my favorite moment was our children coming home for visits, they both moved out on their own to Louisiana and Michigan (our home state) being able to cook and bake for them and enjoy family dinners around the table was awesome – hope you all enjoy this holiday weekend – safe travels
saying yes to my wedding dress!!!
Spending 10 days in Brazil at the World Cup! Bucket list item – check!
So many great moments this summer! The best was probably celebrating Eid with friends and family!
Well besides going on your blog this summer. . . my magic moment was meeting my sweet and funny boyfriend through the infamous Tinder app ( I didn’t even expect getting anything from the app, honestly). But I did and my bf gave me a really fun and adventurous summer filled with kindness, laughter, love, and delicious food. Bonus: I showed him Girls and he can’t stop watching it. It’s great! haha
Spending a week off of work doing fun things with my son before he started Kindergarten.
This is going to sound totally fangirl, but your recipe for stuffed poblanos MADE my summer. I’ve always roasted the poblanos first, then stuffed them and only baked them light. Super tedious! Made your version last night, and they were amazing! Completely changed one of my favorite labor-of-love meals into a weeknight staple!
My best summer moment was learning that I am going to be a first time mom! I feel so grateful and blessed.
My magic moment is getting the courage to finally move back to the East Coast because it is where i belong <3
Also, I just preordered your cookbook…I was choosing between several but yours looked the best…can’t wait!!
Using all of my vacation time, traveling to as many places as I could/wanted to (including a spontaneous trip to Vegas, which was exactly what I needed) and not worrying about work responsibilities. It all gets done eventually! AND making your delicious iced coffee! It’s a staple in my life.
My favorite memory of this summer was finally getting the nerve to load up the three kiddos, who are 3.5, 1.5, and 3 months, and take them to the lake for some girl time with my ladies! It was the first outing that we all took without dad. By throwing myself into that situation, I realized that if I can accomplish a lake day with one strapped to me, while teaching the other two to swim, then the smaller tasks should be cake! I’m seriously outnumbered here :)
Giving my niece and nephew the chance to experience the wonderful foods at the Minnesota State Fair
Traveling and spending time with my sister, parents, and friends! Baking macarons (fails and successes)!

sitting on the porch at my parents’ house in SC drinking mint juleps. so summer!
I preordered your book! Seriously so excited!
gracehlin16@gmail.com
Watching my granddaughter’s face at her first parade and fireworks!
I finally got my act together and pre-ordered your cook book today! I can’t wait to get it. I will probably buy more for Christmas presents and bring them to the Baltimore Book Festival to have you sign them (and meet you for real!)
Preordered the book! So excited!
My favorite summer moments are watching my 1 year old and 3 year old girls experience all the magic this wonderful season has to offer: roasting s’mores, catching fireflies, fishing with Daddy, cold sprinklers, warm rain showers and everything else in between! They bring the magic to every season and it’s so fun experiencing life through their eyes! Thanks for your delicious recipes!

The pineapple mint julep sorbet I made was extremely magical! I look forward to repeating it.
The highlight of my summer was spending so much time outside. Whether reading on my back porch, taking the pup for a walk, or sitting by a fire drinking wine with my husband – it was a total blast.
And I ordered your book on Amazon IMMEDIATELY after hearing it was available.
I went on a cruise with my sister! So fun!
Sitting on some rocks on the coast of Maine and eating a llobster roll for sure.
My magic moment from this summer was definitely my wedding on Aug 2nd. I married the man of my dreams and ate cake with everyone I love. Love your blog!
xx

Yah for your book release & baby & you come to DC!!! My magic moment this summer was taking my son back to college for his 2nd year at DePauw University in Indiana. Taking him back for year #2 was not at all as rough as the freshman drop off, but I still miss him to pieces!
My magic moment of this summer was having time to enjoy beautiful weather with my husband while taking our adorable pup for sunset walks in the neighborhood! Quality family time!! ( and I finally got him to cave as far as trying to have a baby sooner…. Success!)
I have also preordered your book and am literally counting down the minutes. I love your blog and it has become a daily routine to read your fabulous posts and try so many new dishes! Nit to mention my makeup collection has significantly expanded :-) Thank you for all that you do! You are truly an inspiration to so many!
My magic moment came recently. We were at the beach this past weekend — my son was home from college for the weekend — and my two sons and I were together. The weather was perfect, the Gulf of Mexico was beautiful and just spending the day with the two people I love most in the world in a place close to my heart was magical;.
Getting to spend time with my 7yo niece and 6 month nephew when they came to visit me in NYC all the way from Australia!!
Spending time with my two sons at the beach this past weekend was magical. The weather was great, the Gulf of Mexico was clear and calm and the time together was precious.
Having my house and table full again with ALL my kids!
Moving into our new house and celebrating with friends around our fire pit.
I think it was sitting in my father’s yard with he, my step mom, husband and 6 year old throwing a giant Styrofoam plane. It was ridiculously large and Grandma kept crashing it–we all laughed so hard we cried. Really fun.
