Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!Â
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)

My favorite moment this summer were the days around the time my son turned 1. I cried and fell in love with him all over again as we looked back at a year of pictures and videos. Being a mom is he best feeling in the world! So happy you will be able to experience it soon.
My most magical moment is happening right now! Me and my husband are in Florida for a week of sun and fun and parks (loving Disney like we were 8)
Magic moment was spending this summer in NYC and it not being unbelievably hot!
My magical moment was feeling my little girl move and kick for the first time!!
My magical moment this summer was having a dance party on the beach at night with my family! So excited for the book! xo
My magic moment this summer sounds lame but we were on vacation with extended family and my son ( 1 year old) and hubs were napping together. I had some “sangria” (moscato with some juice and strawberries chopped up super quick so I could feel luxurious) in a solo cup and got to sit by the pool uninterrupted for like two whole hours!!! Sooo needed and felt so good! I totally zoned out and was able to be calm.
This really is the summer of your life. So many amazing things for you. You won’t forget it ever. :)
My magic moment from this summer was probably today when I went to the state fair. So much fun and of course had plenty of delicious food!
I also have preordered Seriously Delish and I seriously can’t wait for it!
My magical moment was celebrating my 3rd wedding anniversary with my husband. We ate good food (BBQ) and watched Netflix. Perfect! :)
My favorite summer moment was seeing my kids play for days with their cousins during a family vacation. So much fun!
I just started running this year and hands down my magic moment has been reaching the 10K distance. It’s a funny summer “magic” moment because I was all by myself, huffing and puffing on a hilly trail, but I can still identify that it was an amazing feeling. I’ve had lovely social times as well though.
What started out as just a normal Sunday beach day on Sullivan’s Island, SC ended up being the best day of summer. Just me and a dear friend soaking up some sun until the heat became unbearable. It was the hottest weekend of the summer. So we decided to cool off with our favorite frozen drink, the Painkiller, at Hometeam BBQ which we washed down with their insane smoked wings. Afterwards we met up with our Charleston Mama for some beers and the most refreshing dip in the pool. I can’t even tell you how hot it was that day. Things ended with steaks and red wine for dinner with friends. It was so simple. Nothing out of the ordinary. It was just perfect. My heart and belly were left very full that day.
This summer? Passed the bar exam – it was the absolute biggest relief!
Magic moment from this summer was in July: we moved here to Madison, WI last November and this summer, for the first time, I felt the ease and loveliness of the Midwest. . the winters here are long and we moved right before the first snow fall. We were in our community garden and I was just looking around. . the kids were running around picking flowers and my husband was watering our vegetables. The wind was blowing slightly, it was a beautiful, quiet day and I just felt at ease and at peace. Finally. Finally at peace with moving to Wisconsin from Seattle. . and felt happy.
(and just wanted to say congrats on the book and WOW, what a giveaway!)
My magic moment this summer was learning how to scuba dive, getting certified in Florida and my boyfriend of four years proposing under water!!! I never saw it coming but couldn’t be happier!
My magic moment was when I crossed the finishing line of my first half marathon! I ran with my dear friend and sister in law Em and running together was almost as incredible as the carbo loading.
My magic moment this summer was not working. #teacherlife
My favorite moment this summer by far was meeting my first nephew and godson. He is Mexican American and, no joke, was born on cinco de mayo! Gonna be serving one of your many margarita recipes on his first birthday ;D woo whoo!
This was a summer of magic moments! My last summer living in a city I love and working a job I adore. Many moments were magic (cheesy I know)!!
My most magical moment happened this summer at work. I am a Special Education Teacher and work with a very high-needs population, which requires the majority of our student population to attend summer school to maintain their skills. I had my students for the 2013-2014 school year and for summer school as well and was sad about them moving on to a new teacher for the 2014-2015 school year. I didn’t want them to know I was upset, however, because I wanted them to be confident and excited about their new school’s. On the last day of summer school one of my students came up to my desk upon his arrival and handed me a rock that he had painted himself- a feat in and of itself since he has severe fine motor issues- and said “I’m sad about not having you as my teacher again, did you know that”? I told him it was okay to be sad but that I knew he would be a super star at his new school. He pointed to the rock in my hand and said “I made this for you so when you look at it you will be happy, because thats how you make me feel”. It was such a beautiful moment for me and I’ll keep that rock forever on my desk.
