Happy Birthday, Seriously Delish! (Giveaway!)
You guysssssss. Today marks exactly ONE YEAR since Seriously Delish was released! 365 days. 525949 minutes. Like a billion seconds. I can’t believe it’s been an entire year!
I won’t ever be able to thank you as much as I want to thank you for the amazing opportunity to write this book. To go on the book tour and see all of you, to connect with you in your kitchen in a way that doesn’t involve a computer screen everyday. There is no possible way I can express how freaking grateful I am. No way.
The support for this hot pink binded, rambly worded thing I call a book blows my mind. Thousands of you have written and emailed and instagrammed and sent me pictures of what you have made and it NEVER GETS OLD. I never get used to it. I still get giddy and excited and thrilled to see what you are making and hear your stories around the book. Please never stop!
To celebrate, I’m giving away three signed copies of Seriously Delish. To enter, leave a comment below and tell me the answer to this very important question: what is your favorite song? Contest is open to EVERYONE EVERYWHERE and will run until Sunday.
I love you something fierce. xoxo

Currently, what gets replayed over and over again is ‘Stranger’ by Lord Huron. Upbeat but still has a hint of folkiness to it…
I don’t really have a favorite current song. I tend to like something for a little bit then get tired of it. So I guess my favorite song is Happy Birthday because whenever it is sung I am usually surrounded my friends and family celebrating someones special day.
Favorite song – wow, that’s a tough one! I’d have to say Pachelbel Canon in D. It’s a classic I’ve always enjoyed, and one of my favorites to play on the piano!
I actually don’t have a favourite song.
Roar by Katy Perry. It’s catchy and by listening to this, I think I can lift heavy weights!!
I love ‘You Can Call Me Al’ and I’m making no apologies for it lol. Every now and then, it comes on the radio and it always makes me smile. ;) Love it.
The best song ever is This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody) by Talking Heads!!
Empire of the sun – walking on a dream
Don’t need to enter the contest because I already own a copy! But I just want to say this is an awesome cookbook and we use it all the time. Even if you don’t win it, you should purchase it :D
My favorite song changes all the time. At this moment it’s Firework by Katy Perry. Give me five minutes it will be something totally different.
“Callin’ Baton Rouge” by Garth Brooks is the greatest song on Earth mostly because everyone sounds phenomenal singing it in the shower. And also because Garth Brooks basically admits he like sweet red wine…and we all know that he means rosé.
I love 80’s rock bands. Now I have my 4 kids hooked on them. Well not all 4. I still have 1 hold out. Lol. If I win this will go to my 12 year old daughter who wants to start collecting cook books. (Though I’m sure she’ll share?)

I love the favorite song question. It is a tough one. Depending on your mood or time in life. But two Classics I enjoy are hey Jude by the Beatles and bridge over troubled water by Simon & garfunkle.
I was looking at your book yesterday at Joseph Beth’s bookstore.
Yes there are a few recipes I could make.
As for as music goes now it’s anything by John Michael Montgomery–I keep listening to his greatest hits. But I like anything from Bach to the Beatles.
Walk Like an Egyptian!
For the longest time, the super-cheesy “Vienna” by Billy Joel was my favourite song. I first heard it in the movie 13 Going On 30 and it became my go-to song, especially when I needed cheering up. I haven’t listened to it in a while now, and I’m scared that I won’t react to it the same way, but I like having good memories of it.
I would say my favorite song is singing HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my twq girls Lisa and Kristy and to our 4 grandkids :) Nothing fills me up more then my girls and grandkids!
The Pretender, by the Foo Fighters!
Almost anything on the Bastille Pandora station — I’m in love!!
It’s too late-Carole King
Lead Me Guide Me
Send me on my way (from Mathilda movie!)
My favorite song is by Mat Kearny, Ships in the Night! His new one, Air I Breathe is also pretty awesome.
Would love to try the recipes in your cookbook!
I have been downright obsessed with Sea Out by The Guillemots for a few years now. Obsession shows no signs atallwhatsoever of abating anytime soon.
My Wish by Rascal Flatts!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Or anything Frank Sinatra
S.O.B. by Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats is the jam that currently fuels the nightly dance session with my hubby and 4-month old!
My favorite song is one of the songs from the soundtrack Somewhere in Time. That music is stunningly beautiful. The one I like the most is titled The Old Woman. Your recipes, by the way, are something that I use all the time. Thank you for your delicious ideas!
The Supreme’s “Stop in the Name of Love” is my favorite song because whenever i hear it in the car i am instantly transported back to my childhood summer’s in the 80s and must breakout into the moves. When I was a kid without fail the song would come on every time my mom, sister and I were either coming or going from the neighborhood pool. My mom would tune up the volume and I would dance and sing the entire song in the backseat of my parents old school baby blue Chevy station wagon…the one with the vinyl seats that got super hot in the summer so we always were sitting on beach towels…anyone else cruise in one of those as a kid?? Oh those were the best summer days! Spending the whole day at the pool soaking in every bit of summer fun and of course eating flavor ices!
Happy 1 year cookbook release anniversary! Congrats! I came across your blog about 8 months ago and look forwarding to reading it every week. Thank you for sharing all your great ideas!
“Ship of Fools” by World Party
