August Favorites: Lifestyle.
A list of all the things I loved in August! xo
MEDIA
Lover. Of course! I can’t even tell you how many times we have listened to this album so far. Even Emilia asks for “tay swif!” LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
Absolutely Not Podcast. If you’re a Heather McMahan fan then you HAVE to listen to her podcast. It is laugh-out-loud hilarious.
Yellowstone. We’ve loved Yellowstone since the first season last summer, but this season was SO good. Rip and Beth are incredible characters and HELLO Kevin Costner!
Things You Save in a Fire. Definitely was my favorite read of August. This book was SO good.
FOOD
Wolferman’s Sourdough English Muffins. These are the BEST english muffins I have ever had. They are huge and fat and fluffy and also… sourdough. I order them by the box and we go through them like crazy!
Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew. Okay, I’m a convert. For the first time ever, I’m declaring this better than Dunkin pumpkin coffee. I love that the pumpkin cream isn’t super spiced. This is so good, but makes me feel like I drank jet fuel because it’s so caffeinating.
365 Sourdough Pretzel Nuggets in Pub Cheese. If you’ve ever had the 365 sourdough pretzel nuggets, RUN and get them in the pub cheese flavor. They are unreal. I don’t even love pretzels and these are addictive!
FASHION
Rebecca Minkoff Ankle Strap Sandal. I actually got this in a trunk club box a few months ago and I love them! They are a lower heel than I prefer, but it’s better for chasing kids. These are super comfortable.
Gap Raglan Sweatshirt. I have this in neon pink and I’m obsessed. I mean, do I even need words for that? It’s so comfortable!
Good American Ripped Flare Jeans. Still can’t get enough of these. LIVING for the flare!
J Crew Leopard Print Sweater Blazer. I stalked this until it almost sold out. You know I love the better sweater and have it in a few different colors already, but how could I pass up the leopard?! It’s lightweight and so fun!
HOME
Raw Sugar Watermelon Mint Hand Wash. This is the handwash we have used all summer long and everyone loves it. Smells incredible!
Mueller Pro Veg Chopper. I feel kind of funny telling you about this since my job is to literally chop vegetables. But! If you have a TON of veggies to chop, this is amazing. I’ve used it during my book photoshoot prep when I have to chop stuff for 15 recipes at a time and it’s awesome. I also use it for egg salad!
Passion Planner. I stayed loyal to my passion planner this year and words can’t express how much I love it. The layout is perfect for me – i really need to see the entire week at a glance for my wacky brain.
Stabilo Boss Pastel Highlights. If you’re a school supply nerd like I am, you need these pastel highlighters! I use them in my planner above and they are the prettiest.
[none of this is sponsored, i just love to tell you what i love every month! there are a few general affiliate links above! xo]

That pumpkin cream cold brew is something special. Delicious without overpowering the coffee. Yum!
Things You Save in a Fire is especially good in audio. The narrator is excellent!
Have you tried Plum Paper planners? You design your own and they are awesome!
I’m reading Things You Save In A Fire Now. Such a good book! Going to have to purchase the Gap sweatshirt.
Quick question… those English muffins look divine!! I cant find the nutrition info online. Calories in the sourdough thick ones? They sound delish!
I’m obsessed with the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew but I have ALWAYS thought that cold brew had LESS caffeine than normal coffee (especially because they don’t offer decaf cold brew). I’m super pregnant atm and have had cold brew this whole time (like…. most days) but I’ve heard 2x this week that it’s more caffeinated! Whooops! D:
