december moments

I can’t believe we are halfway through December!

Seriously where is the time going? I get anxious just thinking about how fast it is going.

Right now is seriously MAGICAL with the kids. It is like reliving my childhood all over again, it is something I didn’t know how much I’d enjoy. Every day right now is so fun because of the holiday magic. Sure there are still times when I’m stressed to the max or running around like a lunatic, but overall, it’s so enjoyable.

Here are just a few memories I want to remember this December!

This is how excited the kids were to wake up to chocolate coins in their shoes on Saint Nicholas Day. Who else celebrated this holiday as kids? I love the tradition.

Last week we went to Cookies with the Clause’s at the Fairmont. In my opinion, this is the BEST breakfast/event with Santa around. It’s so much fun! There is a breakfast, but the fun part is that every kid gets one of these huge pizza boxes filled with cookies, piping bags of frosting and sprinkles + decor. Plus adorable aprons. It is so, so much fun!

This past week, we also went on the Polar Express! We went to the one in Akron, OH – the Cuyahoga railroad. You have to get tickets in the late summer or early fall, and I’ve wanted to go forever. They give you hot chocolate and cookies and it’s very cute.

This child and her personality kill me. She is hilarious. I wish you could talk to her in person.

And fiiiiinally, Max turned five last week. Excuse me while I go bawl my eyes out.
HOW?!?!

This is the first year he didn’t want a Lightning McQueen cake – instead he asked for “rescue vehicles!” So that’s what we got him!

It’s so magical and wonderful and I never want to forget it!
