Beautiful! If it didn’t end, you wouldn’t be able to appreciate it as much. All of the most enjoyable places become a little less magical once you live there (SoCal for me).

Jessica, I love your blog, and especially this post! I just was at my FAVORITE PLACE IN THE WORLD for vacation last week, and I know how you feel. That one last sunset over the beautiful water is both breathtaking and heartbreaking at the same time. I have never been to Michigan but it looks beautiful from your pictures. You are right, reality sucks.
