Four Things.
I swiped this off Caitlin because well… I’ve been living in triple XL sweatpants for 4 days and reminiscing about having an old AOL email account where people would send me surveys every 13 seconds. The beginning of the downfall people.

4. Four things I’ve learned from the past:

Oooh fun – I love that idea and it’s nice to learn odd things about people that you interact with but don’t really know. I might have to steal this idea sometime ;)
Aw fun! XL sweat pants are one of my favorite things about winter :-P
I really want to live in the Mad Men days too. I dress like it just for fun most days at work.
I’ve never heard that Ben F quotation, but it is my new favorite.
I’m totally going to do this for tomorrow’s post! AOL….those were the days!!! Chat rooms…lol

Aww, this was cute!!! I too wish I could go back to the Mad Men days. I would have so much fun with all those clothes!
I know!
Haha, I answered the same questions with the post title “Four Things” today too! :)
I like your quotes.
I love these kind of things. It really tells you so much about people! I love Big Love, but sadly got rid of HBO while it has been on break. I am from the Mad Men era and I love the Ben Franklin quote!
I love Trueblood and Brothers and Sisters. I’ve never heard of Boardwalk Empire, sounds good though.
Four things I did today are: drank coffee(s), laughed, shopped and ate. :)
You must watch Boardwalk Empire! It just ended – it’s on HBO too.
love it!
When does True Blood return?! I heard its theme song at Nordstrom the other day and got all reminiscent. HAHAH
And how much do you love Brothers & Sisters (or as I like to call it, “Bros & Sis’)…my mom got me into it this past year and I’ve recently caught up on it via my laptop and hulu.com. I was surprised by how much I got into it!!
Four things I did yesterday:
1. Watched Dawson’s creek
2. Took a yoga class with my mama
3. Got peppermint & gingerbread fro yo
4. Saw “Going the Distance” with friends
:)
It usually comes on every June!
I LOVE this post — you write a fantastic blog. It’s funny and warm and sarcastic and very real, love it! I’ve been a reader for a long time but never felt compelled to tell you until now… keep it up!
Thank you so, so much!
Love this! Check mine out: http://kitchencouture.tumblr.com/post/2518747493/4-things-a-la-how-sweet
What a great little survey. and I LOVE that Ben Franklin quote – he was a smart dude. ;)
Love this! I’ve been to Rome and Greece (Athens, Santorini, Mykonos) and I highly recommend that part of the world. Gorgeous scenery and mouthwatering food. Happy New Year!
They sound beautiful!
I LOVE reading and doing these things :) So much fun!
Thanks so much for sharing your favorite quote with me! I was looking for something motivational to have made into a banner at the homeless shelter I used to volunteer at. And I think this might be it!
You are welcome. :)
Great list! I’m so sad this will be the last season of Big Love! :(
Me too!
Challenge accepted! http://www.livinglikethekings.com/2010/12/four-things.html
You are so right about feeling like garbage after eating garbage. If only I could remember that while baking. Or eating tons of cookies.

Sounds like the perfect day to me – yoga, praying, shopping, writing. I need more days like that!
Ok i love HBO as well but did you love it when the Sopranos and Sex and the City were on? Sopranos is my all time favorite! And I still haven’t figured out the picture thing on here, BUT i did manage to start my own little blog. Thanks to you, I got some courage and just did it! It doesn’t even compare to your cute blog but oh well :)
Oh girl… Obsessed doesn’t even begin to describe it. I still watch both almost daily and it is a tie for my most favorite show ever!
I agree! Best show ever!! Have you watched Nurse Jackie? Since I LOVE Edie Falco I had to give that one a try and it is pretty awesome.
I haven’t! But I love Edie Falco too.
fun post! “chocolate” is also a commonly used work in my vocabulary :)
“Eating garbage makes you feel like garbage.” Too true! I am so sugared out right now, it’s hard to believe.
But I’m sure this post resonates with a lot of people, as it certainly does me.
And True Blood is an addiction! I want more Erik, dang it!
This is such a neat idea!
Four of my favorite shows are:
1 – Hell’s Kitchen
2 – America’s Next Top Model
3 – SNL
4 – The Nanny
5 – Survivor
I can’t count. WOW.
LOL!
What a beautiful post, Jessica! :-)
Yeah, chocolate definitely has become a word I use a lot this year. Mostly because I was pregnant at the beginning of the year so for ten months or so I HATED chocolate (and didn’t feel like a true woman) and when I had my baby in September suddenly all I could think about was chocolate.
I love Boardwalk Empire! I’m a bit of an HBO addict myself. I watch True Blood, Bored to Death, and Eastbound and Down. I need to watch Big Love and Bro & Sis….or maybe I shouldn’t start anything new lest I be consumed by TV watching! lol
Oh we are obsessed with Eastbound and Down too.
