Tuesday Things.
1. We currently have a dozen cupcakes in our house. For the two of us. Like really large cupcakes. HALP.
2. Need this one bowl tiramisu in my life. Whaaaaaat. Or not, because see #1?
3. A word I can never spell properly the first time? Opaque. Never ever ever.
4. This video of Tom Hanks is everything, I shared it on facebook last week but, like, how many times can you watch him reenact EVERY single movie he’s made? A million times. That’s how many.
5. Who else likes to waste time by looking at previous to-do lists? Not like yesterday’s to-do list, but like one of last year’s to-do lists. I know.
6. On Sunday night I was stuck in a hotel room with my 41 year old husband who was live streaming Wrestlemania for HOURS. I mean hours. I was all about the Ultimate Warrior 25 years ago buuuuut… now? The worst part is that he and Max have me outnumbered. But don’t worry. Max watches Nashville with me.
7. Apparently McDonald’s is going to start selling breakfast all day long?! Um hello, where was this when I was in college? I haven’t had a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit in eons but now all I want is a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit and apparently I can get one whenever I want. This is scary.
8. Ummm thoughts on The Walking Dead finale? I liked it, was pretty happy with the ending and almost had a heart attack like three times during the episode. That’s a winner for me. Are you going to be watching the spin off? Not sure I can get into that. At least not yet. I’m reeeeeeally excited that Nashville is new until the end. Yesss.
9. Please tell me you’ve seen the Easter things at Target. I mean, I’m sure you have since Easter is in five minutes but… SPARKLE EGGS.

1-And the problem is….
6-confession time – this is embarrassing – my celeb crush is The Rock, and I JUST two weeks ago found out he was a wrestler. Also, Nashville is amazeballs!
Your photo is from my favorite bakery! You would love Baked and Wired!! I live in DC (and unfortunately on the opposite end of town) but I have literally walked 3 miles from my house for these cupcakes! I am due with my first baby at the beginning of June and our hospital is about a 10 minute walk from Baked and Wired. I’ve already told my husband that he needs to plan to get me cupcakes to celebrate baby’s birth day. :)
the fact that target is closing in canada like this weekend is basically the worst thing ever. we’ll never see cute affordable seasonal things ever again *insert crying cat face emoji here*
A dozen cupcakes … and two people — I’m hoping 10 for you and 2 for eddie .. because you know, you’re into sharing and things?!?! Definitly NOT a problem!!
… and that tiramisu …. ohhh man, I NEED it! I also always need McDonalds breakfast – i.die.
Those are Baked and Wired cupcakes aren’t they?? BEST cupcakes in DC without a doubt!
I knew you were in D.C. when I saw your White House photos! You should have done impromptu book signing in the city since you had to cancel your last one due to the baby!
Just like wedding cake, you can totally freeze cupcakes. I wrap them tightly in plastic wrap and toss them in the back of the freezer for a rainy day. The worst part is being patient enough to let them defrost again.
Speaking of McDonalds bacon, egg and cheese…did you know this???? How did I not know????

Where, or where is that gorgeous bakery in the photo? I need to have that in my life.
you really are a champ for putting up with wrestling (sorry Eddie), at least Brandon and I both love football, and he plays his video games in the basement, as he should.
Love that Tom Hanks video! I’ve watched it at least 10 times
I totally feel your WrestleMania pain. My husband’s 30th birthday just happened to be on ‘the greatest day in wresting’ so guess what we did… Also, we just found out we’re expecting in October and he wants a wrestling themed nursery. Someone help me!
cupcakes are never a problem. Have one for breakfast and one for dessert. Maybe a late night snack later on too. A couple..few days they will be gone. And then the tiramisu!
Being able to get a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit whenever I want will be very bad. I’m not 10 pounds heavier for the sheer fact that I am lazy and never get up before they stop serving them. :)
Oh. My. Goodness. My fiance was watching Wrestlemania on Sunday too and basically turning into a giggling little kid when it was going on. He used to have a good friend who watched it with him but he moved away and now it’s alllll on me. NOOO. I feel your pain!
Long time lurker, first time commenter. Part of the reason I love your blog so much is because I feel like you get me. #5 confirms we are pretty much the same person.
speaking of easter, I’m curious, what did you end up giving up for lent?
OMG my son watched that wrestling thing and talked about it for days beforehand lol. I never understand the attraction to wrestling but apparently Sunday night’s was a BIG deal.
I don’t think anything has ever spoken to me more than #5. Are you in my head??!
I need to watch Walking Dead – my friend Corey plays Porch Dick – but I have no idea what that means!
Totally agree about the Tom Hanks movie compilation. It’s hilarious and totally inspires me to go rewatch some of those movies.

OMG those sparkle eggs are everything… love them!!!
Welcome to the world of boys, boys, boys everything. We as mothers take the back seat most of the time, however, I do remind my 2 sons, mister, and 2 male pooches that I will always be the queen of my queendom. Love your blog, crumbs, and eclectic recipes. Welcome to motherhood! Happy Spring, Easter, and everything in between! And YES, those great goodies at Target, they get me every time. #brokenow
I’m sure you’ve seen them, but the Easter sparkle egg bath bombs at LUSH are right up your alley! Glitter glitter everywhere!!

98% of the time I have to look up the spelling of VACUUM. It makes me crazy. Why can I never remember? I’ll take an egg mcmuffin with cheese, no butter please.
I’m so glad I’m not the only person whose husband watches wrestling! Like I know the wrestlers names now and i haaaaaattttteeee it. I don’t need to know who Seth Rollins and Daniel Bryan are. They are taking up precious brain space. Although I kind of love being able to watch whatever I want on Monday nights because he is too busy watching RAW to care :-)
Did you watch the Talking Dead?
Morgan is British too! Oh!
Totally loved The Walking Dead finale…best one ever! So many possibilities for next season. Speaking of seasons, I seriously can’t wait for the spin-off.
Did you take Max on the trip with you? If so, you should totally do a post in the baby section about how he did and what you brought with you. My little guy is just a few weeks younger and we’re starting to ponder some weekend trips, too!
I saw the photo and thought you were in DC. Maybe you are?!?
Those sparkle eggs! Now I want an egg tree.
I’m glad you didn’t post this on April 1, because if you mentioned a McDonald’s all day breakfast on April Fool’s, I’d be very skeptical. But if this is real, I’m super excited. Egg McMuffin all the way!
When I need a quick tiramisu fix, I use this recipe:

Kind of like a deconstructed tiramisu, but easy to make in a pinch and satisfies the craving!
The picture at the top of the rows of baked goods – where was that taken? I live in Pittsburgh and I think I need to go to that place!
