Jessica, I so appreciate your recipes — they are written for real people who have access to (mostly) everyday ingredients you can purchase from your local Walmart Supercenter or Winn Dixie. So many of us don’t have access to places like Trader Joe’s or specialized grocery stores. I was so excited to see a recipe for Vanilla Muffins. Alas, most of the ingredients are not any that I have ever seen in my local grocery store — sorghum flour? Cacao nibs? Unfortunately, in my town of 3,000 people, these items are not readily available. And, the blogger says you really cannot substitute flours. Again, my compliments to you on making recipes that use ingredients I can find. I am looking forward to making the bacon pimento-cheese crostini with candied jalapenos.
Oh my god, I need to make those lilac sugar donuts right now! Thanks for sharing x
