The most embarrassingly easy but delicious and simple way to make a NUTELLA LATTE.

Oh mylanta.

Since making one of these a few months ago, it’s easy to say that I’ve wanted one

every

single

morning.

Really. Every single.

I’ve held back from doing a daily nutella latte, if only because I fear it’s the easy gateway drug to donuts and chocolate dipped peanut butter spoons every afternoon. You know? But with the holidays coming, I’m thinking a daily one may be the perfect way to celebrate the entire month of November and December.

Not sure if that’s the best decision ever or really, the worst.

When I say this is embarrassingly easy, I’m not even slightly joking.

Place a scoop of nutella in your mug.

Pour your super hot espresso over top.

Whisk until melty and chocolatey!

Fill the mug with steamed milk and foam.

Take a sip. Cry a little.

You can heighten the experience by rimming your mug in a nutella blanket and also giving a little drizzle of balsamic glaze over top. If you’re a briney, balsamic freak like I am, you will probably LOVE this idea. If you’re not into it, double up on the nutella. There are worse things in life, I swear.

So! This is another one of my collaborations with DeLallo, my favorite local market and delicious pasta brand. You can take a peek at the video below to see some of the most delicious dishes we made and devoured. Every day spent in their kitchen is a serious DREAM.

Ingredients

  • 1 to 2 tablespoons ,nutella plus extra for the rim
  • 1 to 2 shots hot espresso
  • 6 to 8 ounces steamed milk
  • cocoa powder for sprinkling
  • balsamic glaze for drizzling

Instructions

  • Take a spoon and spread a thin layer of nutella on the rim of a coffee mug.
  • Place 1 to 2 tablespoons of nutella (the more you use, the more chocolatey it will be!) in the bottom of the mug. Pour the hot espresso shots over top and whisk or stir with a spoon until the nutella melts. Slowly pour in steamed milk, then sprinkle cocoa powder on top. To finish it off, drizzle 1/4 to 1/2 of the rim with balsamic glaze. Serve immediately!
