Hi! Are you snow covered right now? You would not believe the amount of people at the grocery store yesterday that had carts full of bread and milk and toilet paper. I mean, I know this is a running joke if you live in a city where is snows, but yesterday was the first day that I actually WITNESSED multiple carts in my store filled with those things. My cart? Avocados, bacon, fontina cheese and brussels sprouts. Do with that what you will.
If we get tons of snow, I’m surely making multiple nutella lattes.
Also, Eddie bought a sled for Max. And snow pants. And boots. I’ll just leave that right here.
What are your plans this weekend? If you have time and ingredients, you need to make this white pizza dip (< video!) for weekend. And over on the pioneer woman, I’m sharing cotton candy popcorn balls. Ridiculously fun and sugary.

My favorite thing about living in Boston is how many people get their weather predictions from the French Toast Report (http://www.universalhub.com/french-toast) which evaluates snow possibilities by how much milk and bread and eggs you need to be stocking up on!
I always wonder why people shop like its the end of the world. It was near impossible to buy some water in NJ. Â That chicken zucchini noodle pho sounds perfect for today.Â
Potato stamping….. a classic preschool craft (i’m a teacher, and I’ve made them many times)!! Make some edible/safe finger paint and create foodie artwork with your little nugget!!
I think if I “organized” my baking supplies, I would actually have a harder time finding what I needed… ha! I’m used to my controlled chaos!
Oh the snow! It is coming down hard for us right now. Â I am with you and the nutella lattes.Â
I went shopping yesterday, but the contents of my cart included carrots, celery, onions, chuck roast, blueberries, sour cream & cake mix. Â Guess what my plans are?
We’re only getting 0-2 inches here in midwest Mass…….that’s a first!
I did buy milk, bread and eggs though….
( I was 15 in the blizzard of 78)
I’m just sewing today, I have to get ready for my spring shows.
um that capsule maker thing? Â where has that been all my life?? Â i need that.
OMG yes!! Baby snow suits and snow boots are the best :)Â Stay warm Jessica!
xo,

I’m with you – Nutella lattes are a must when there’s this much snow on the ground. OOH and that boozy coconut hot chocolate. I need them all!
That is the ONE thing that I don’t miss about living in DC! Grocery stores before snowstorms. Just painful. Thanks for the juice love!!!! You made my weekend that much brighter.Â
Yeah, when you find the someone to come organize your baking supplies, let me know! :)
Your cart sounded great! Lol. That curtain came out great. I recall hearing about potato stamps as a child. I shall attempt the Nutella latte tomorrow. Â

No only were people going crazy at the grocery store before the storm, but my local grocery store, which is an easy walk from a large college campus, has 35 minute checkout lines during the 2-day storm!
I absolutely adore the energy you radiate!!! With tha said, I look forward to receiving all your beautiful food pics, stellar ideas and all around excitement !! Much gratitude for your time in gathering such epic items ! Best wishes ~
I love no bake cookie recipes and that orange ginger juice looks like it would definitely hit the spot right now!
We are not covered by snow (I mean, we are, but it’s old snow and nothing like the craziness that the East coast experienced) but I still want to pretend I’m snowed in and eat all the queso dip and drink all the nutella lattes.Â
Thanks so much for the link love!! xo
Next time we all get slammed with a blizzard like this, we should just have a kick ass slumber party. ;) Thanks for including my chili in this weeks crushing on. Mutually crushing on that burger. Sweet glory.Â
