Hello weekend! How on earth are we nearing the end of October? What the what?
This week I’m at Deer Valley in Park City, Utah and it’s so stunningly beautiful. I’ve been here before but never get over how gorgeous it is. But I can’t wait to get home and squeeze this bug. What are you guys up to this weekend? And are pumpkin carving parties really a thing? I want to have one but in true Jessica fashion I’m like three weeks too late.

The costume!!! It’s my favorite part that she has Shawn from Boy Meets World on there. LOL! I was just watching reruns of it this weekend. Yep, in my mid-30s, but so what, right? :)
Yes pumpkin carving parties are a thing. We’ve hosted one the last few years. A big pot of chili with cornbread or taco soup. Everybody brings a pumpkin. We have tons of carving tools and stencils. It’s so fun to see the creativity and the kids, big and little, having a blast. We take picture on the front porch with everyone’s finished product. Such a fun thing we all look forward to every fall ??
