Iced Eggnog Lattes.
Say hello to my most favorite drink ever!
It’s true.
This might trump margaritas.
I wait all year long for eggnog lattes. ALL YEAR.
And here’s the wacky thing: I don’t even love eggnog. Not at all.
I enjoy a glass – or should I say, two sips from a half-full glass – once a year around the holidays. That all changed though when I tried an eggnog (I just wrote “egglog”- what is wrong with me) latte a few years ago. Seriously the best of both worlds. Delicious and sort of rich but not as horribly rich as one full glass of eggnog.
ALSO. Please tell me that every time you see a glass of eggnog or every time the word eggnog even enters your brain space, you think of cousin Eddie in Christmas Vacation sloppily ladleing that thick eggnog into the glass mousse mug while wear this holiday sweater.
It’s all I think of ever. And I must watch that movie at least three times a year, starting now.
Merry kalikimaka!
So, yes, my life was forever changed (I’m really not dramatic at all, not ever) when I had an eggnog latte. But it was doubly changed when I ordered that latte over ice. ICE!
I don’t care if it’s negative 73 degrees out, I will order my coffee iced. It is so much better. I’ve never been a fan of warm drinks. There is definitely a time and place for them, and that time and a place for me is rare. It’s less rare if there is bourbon or Baileys involved, but I mean, that’s neither here nor there.
My first iced eggnog latte was a DREAM. It was documented on Instagram, in fact, and of course I tried it a day or so after Christmas in usual Jessica fashion. I’m late to the party on EVERYTHING.
Does that not look like the richest, creamiest, most delicious latte swirl on the planet? Indulge me.
It’s simple and easy, but it tastes like the holidays and as of today, you have 31 days to do this thing.
Iced Eggnog Lattes

- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- freshly grated nutmeg
- 4 ounces eggnog
- 2 ounces 2% milk (or something slightly thinner, like almond milk)

- Stir together the eggnog and milk. Pour it over the ice and stir. Grate a bit more nutmeg over top.
- If desired top with whipped cream! DEVOUR.

These look so tasty and the wee gingerbread man on the top is so cute! I’ve never had eggnog before, so I don’t really know what it’s like it’s not a big thing in my country but I really want to try these!

while I love flavoured lattes, I think the flavour is really punched up when they’re iced. I’ve taken to making one hot latte in the morning and an iced one in the afternoon (even though the temps are hovering around freezing) because the iced ones are just so good.
I resigned my office-job and now I am getting paid £64 hourly. How? I work over internet! My old work was making me miserable, so I was forced to try something different, two years after…I can say my life is changed-completely for the better!
