Weekend Photo Diary: Adventures in Apple Picking!
Last weekend we went apple picking at Soergels, which I think is the best place around to go apple picking! Their fall fest is so much fun, the apple cider doughnuts are unreal, there are so many pumpkins to choose from and even though it was ten million degrees, we had such a blast picking apples. We’ve almost made it throw the entire bag that we’ve picked and Max has eaten at least one every day.

I loved going there when I lived in Pittsburgh. Always came home with an apple pie and a pumpkin. Happy to hear they are still thriving.
We were there this weekend and now have two huge bags of Cameo apples. I’d love to know what you’d suggest doing with them all! I was thinking an spiced apple cake but could use some more ideas.
Max’s facial expressions kill me Every. Time. He has so much personality! I am extra obnoxious and cannot wait to have a child equally obnoxious as me, but I have semi-convinced myself that my kid will be the most stoic, serious, and calm wet blanket ever. That is probably mean to say about a child that doesn’t exist yet, but…. I can sense it.
Ugh so cute!! I went apple picking this weekend as well. We were surrounded by the cutest kids the entire day which made my heart just about burst. It was raining while we were out there, but still so fun!
