2017 Holiday Gift Guide: Favorite Cookbooks.
Here’s a peek at my favorite books for gifting in 2017! This is mostly a list of newer cookbooks that came out in 2017, but there are a few on here that are older that I just couldn’t leave out. And here is last year’s book gift guide too!
HowSweetEats 2017 Cookbook Holiday Gift Guide:
Weekday Weekend. HELLO this is my life. Eating great during the week and indulging on the weekends. This book was made for me!
The Simple Bites Kitchen. I’m constantly inspired by Aimee’s amazing kitchen skills and they incredible meals she prepares for her family. This book has some of the most amazing recipes!
Sweet. My love for the previous cookbooks by Yotam Ottolenghi knows no bounds. I adore Jerusalem and Plenty. I’ve only had this book for a few weeks but I am SO interested in making multiple recipes. Delicious to look at too!
Love Real Food. You’ve probably heard me go on and on about how incredible Kathryne’s book is. I love her recipes so much and it’s actually a vegetarian book – with lots of things I want to eat!
The Year of Cozy. This is not a new book but always ranks up there as one of my favorites. It’s gorgeous to display and the recipes in it are fantastic. Adrianna’s blog is one of my favorites, so I love having this in my kitchen!
The Pretty Dish. This is my next cookbook that will be released in March, but you can totally preorder it for a gift right now! I am SO excited about this book. I cannot even wait for you to see it.
The Flavor Bible. Probably sound like a broken record here but this is theeee perfect book for someone who is learning to cook and develop their own recipes. There are a few recipes in here, but it’s more of a book that tells you which flavors pair best together. I adore it. It never leaves my kitchen.
Dinner: Changing the Game. This might be my FAVORITE book of the year. The recipes in here are to die for, reliable and I always want to make every single thing for dinner.
Cherry Bombe The Cookbook. I’ve been loving the collection of recipes in this book – they are all so different, but all so perfect and exactly what I want!
The Pioneer Woman Cooks Come and Get It. I love Ree’s books because it’s like each page tells a story within the book. Plus, her recipes are always huge huge huge hits in my house.
Bravetart. For all of the most perfect desserts! I bought this book a few weeks ago and am so excited to make about a million things for the holidays.
Over Easy. An entire cookbook dedicated to brunch is my ultimate dream. Everything Joy makes is something I want to eat, so this is perfection.
Seriously Delish. A major shameless plug (again) for my first cookbook! So many of you love the recipes in this book. I do too!
Pizzazzerie: Entertain in Style. If only Courtney could come style my entire house, every single day. This book is stunning. I want to live inside of it.

Love Real Food is an amazing book. I’m not even close to vegetarian and yet? everything called out to me and was super delish.
I want more cook books, I have gotten out of baking for almost 3 years now. Wow, i just realized that. I will have to add these to my Christmas list, thanks for sharing.
I thought I had a lot of new cookbooks from this year, but now you are reminding me of so many more! I guess that is what a Christmas list is for. :) Thanks so much for the support! xo
interesting readings:D
Dinner and Bravetart are phenomenal. I have far too many cookbooks but I pull these two out all the time. I usually look at cookbooks from the library before I buy them but both of these made it into my house on release day and I have zero regrets. Love them both.
Deb denied!
Jessica, thanks again! Delighted to be in such good company in your cookbook guide. I can’t wait to see your next book!

Cooking is an art and needs best books to experiment with different recipes. Experience will make a cook good chef. You have the best and unique collection of books. I like cooking and of course, I will try missing books from your suggested list.
