November Favorites: Lifestyle.
Last month I skipped my food + fun favorites because… I just ran out of time. Time management was not my friend! I was super bummed because I LOVE this time of year and love sharing what I love. Could I possible say LOVE anymore. Sheesh. Okay! So here are a handful of my current favorites, minus the beauty stuff which is coming tomorrow! xo
Winter in Paradise by Elin Hilderbrand. I love me a good winter novel! This one did not disappoint and while I was so sad to leave behind the family she has written about the last four years, I did get into this book!
My kitchen Christmas tree! I bought this slim alpine tree when Target had a huge sale a few weeks ago. And last year I got a lot of my ornaments at Sur La Table the day after Christmas last year! Do you want a full post on the tree + ornaments? So many of you have inquired.
The Series 4 Apple Watch! AH! Eddie got me one for my birthday and I am obsessed. I love it so much. It’s also super motivating (it’s been a few years since I wore a fit bit!) – I actually hate when I have to take it off and charge it!
Fire Brew Immune Booster. It’s no secret that I’m a huge apple cider vinegar freak. I’ve taken shots of it every day for at least ten years. I swear it helps my allergies and keeps sinus infections at bay. This fire brew is an INTENSE version of that. It has really worked to cure some icky stuff coming on.
Nest Holiday Candle. The last few years, I’ve lost my mind over the Birchwood Pine Candle. I love them both SO much but I’m really having a moment with Holiday. It has a little fruit/citrus in it. It’s so festive! I have the reed diffuser in my bathroom and it’s great too.
Siete Foods Cashew Queso. Oh my gosh. This is pure heaven. Hot or cold – eat it with chips, put it on tacos. It’s AMAZING.
Wildfox Christmas Sweatshirts. I have a love/hate relationship with these sweatshirts. They are so overpriced and after, like, two wears they look like crap. BUT! They are SO comfortable and soft. I actually can’t even find one to match the comfort and softness. And I love to grab one at Christmas to wear as pajamas. I don’t leave the house with it on, but I have fun wearing it IN the house! It’s the coziest thing ever.
Keurig K-Cafe. I did some sponsored work with Keurig last month but this has nothing to do with that. I got this machine and am OBSESSED. It’s been a long time since I had a Keurig and I can’t get over how much I love this with the frother built in. I must have made 12 lattes on Thanksgiving night for everyone!
I’ve been living in this Long Sleeve Tie Front Thermal Top. It’s so cozy and comfortable too! Super cute with boots and jeans!
Okay and don’t hate me for mentioning these again, but these ugly Faux Leather Slides?? Still wearing them! I feel in love with these last year. They are so ugly but they are perfect for running quick errands (especially when you don’t have to leave the car: school drop off, starbucks, bank, etc) and SO EASY. I don’t wear them as actual shoes with an outfit, but I’ve seen others do it and look cute.
Mrs Meyers Peppermint Hand Soap has been in the kitchen and powder room for over a week now. I use the apple cider scent until Thanksgiving – then I move on to peppermint. It’s so fresh!
This gold love necklace has been a favorite for months. I adore it. I’ve had a love bracelet from Anthropologie that I got years ago, so I was SO excited to find this!
And so has this Faux Leather Hooded Moto Jacket! I love this SO MUCH. I bought it at the Nordstrom anniversary sale and it’s so stretchy and sharp.
[none of this is sponsored, just like to talk about things that I discover and love over the month. i purchased everything myself aside from the keurig brewer. tell me your faves! there may be a few affiliate links above. xoxoxo.]

Yes I want to see the tree please!!!
Do you follow @karlareed on instagram? She just showed a little vacuum trick on stories for fluffing the fur when it gets matted on those leather slides if you’re interested!
I want to see your tree! I keep adding trees to my house. I wonder if I could do a kitchen tree even though my real tree is also in the great room. 🤔
And I love the Mrs Meyers soap. They make a handcrema, too, which is amazing! I think I bought them all.
And I bought rose gold slides during a sample sale. I am obsessed with them. Who needs boots?
Nordstrom Rack has a pretty good selection of Wildfox for half the price! I got one and it is just as soft as the regular ones!
I love the food ornaments! I started collecting them probably 5 years ago. My mom would get me a few ornaments every year from Sur la Table to put on my tiny fake tree that was in my apartment. I’ve now upgraded to a normal size real tree but most of my ornaments are food ones!
Yes to the full post on trees and ornaments! I’m one of the many who asked 🙋
I saw those ugly fur loafers on one of your lists last year and I couldn’t stop thinking about them, but ultimately didn’t get them. A month ago, I inadvertantly came across them on Target and gave in before I thought about it too much. Dude. I’ve worn them at the office a few times on more casual days and I’ve gotten so many comments on them. They’re amaze and they shouldn’t work, but I don’t care!
What tree do you have for your “real” tree?
I’ve been looking for that Siete cashew cheese dip for months! I ant tell you how many Whole Foods I’ve been to just to see if they have it😡
I am so with you on the Wildfox sweatshirts! They are so soft and cozy but do not age well. I have a bunch that are a few years old and I keep pulling them out to wear and they look terrible. Good idea on wearing them as pajamas though!
