  • 10 figs, quartered and chopped into pieces
  • 2 tablespoons loosely packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 ounces gorgonzola cheese, crumbled + more for topping if you wish

  • 2/3 cups old-fashioned oats
  • 2/3 cups loosely packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter, at room temperature

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Add figs to a baking dish (I used a 9-inch pie plate) and sprinkling with brown sugar, salt and cinnamon, then toss to coat. Set aside.
  • In a large bowl, combine oats, brown sugar, flour, salt and cinnamon, mixing to combine. Add in butter and using your hands, crumble it into the oat mixture, bringing it together until crumbly. I used my hands to toss together and mixed for a good 2-3 minutes, until everything was equally mixed.
  • Add crumbled gorgonzola over figs, then add crisp mixture over top. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until crisp is golden and fruit is bubbly. Serve immediately, with extra gorgonzola if desired.
