Our Favorite Banana Bread

This is our favorite banana bread! Sour cream banana bread is made with brown sugar, 2 bananas, butter and sour cream. I love to top it with chocolate chips for an extra treat!

Ingredients

Instructions 

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a 9x5 inch loaf pan with nonstick baking spray.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda and salt.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and brown sugar. Whisk in the eggs one at a time. Whisk in the vanilla extract. Whisk in the mashed bananas.
  • Stir in the dry ingredients until just combined. Stir in the sour cream until combined.
  • Pour in the loaf pan. Sprinkle the mini chocolate chips in a single layer over the batter. Bake for 55 to 65 minutes, or until a tester inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Let cool completely before inverting and slicing.
