This is my family's new favorite broccoli recipe! It's a side dish that goes with just about anything, complementing tons of flavors. The broccoli is roasted and coated in garlicky breadcrumbs and cheese crisps, making it so enjoyable to eat!
Preheat the oven 425 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with foil and spray with nonstick spray.
Place the broccoli on the sheet and drizzle with the olive oil. Season all over with the salt and pepper. Roast the broccoli for 15 minutes.
While the broccoli roasts, heat the butter in a skillet. Once melted, add the breadcrumbs and garlic. Stir well, toasting until golden and fragrant. Turn off the heat and stir in the cheddar cheese.
Remove the broccoli from the oven and sprinkle the cheddar breadcrumbs all over the top. Return the pan to the oven and roast for 5 to 8 minutes more, until the cheese is golden and crisp.
Remove from the oven and serve! Yum yum.
