Our favorite taco salad is loaded with all the best toppings and served with some of our favorite dressings. Cilantro lime, chili mango or salsa ranch is the perfect dressing for this crunchy, satisfying salad!
2tablespoonsfresh chives or ½ tablespoon dried chives
1tablespoonfresh dill or 1 teaspoon dried dill weed
½tablespoonfresh parsley or ½ teaspoon dried parsley
1teaspoonfresh lemon juice
½teaspoongarlic powder
½teaspoonsalt
½teaspoonpepper
¼teaspoononion powder
¼teaspoonsmoked paprika
½cupyour favorite salsa
Instructions
To make the salad, toss the lettuce with fresh cilantro and a big pinch of salt and pepper. Top with tomatoes, corn, green onions, pickled onions, tortilla chips, seasoned taco meat and guacamole or avocado. Drizzle all over with your dressing of choice. Enjoy!
cilantro lime dressing
In a blender or food processor, combine the lime juice, honey, garlic, cilantro salt, pepper, pepper flakes and olive oil. Blend until combined and smooth (some pieces of cilantro may remain). Leftovers stay great in the fridge for a few days! Store it in a sealed container.
chili mango dressing
In a blender or food processor, combine the mango, chili lime dressing, lime juice, olive oil and a big pinch of salt and pepper. Blend until combined and smooth. Leftovers stay great in the fridge for a few days! Store it in a sealed container.
salsa ranch
Add all ingredients to a blender or food processor and blend until pureed and combined. Stir in the salsa. Store in the fridge in a sealed container. This lasts for about a week!
