March Favorites: Beauty.
Hiya! I think you’re going to notice a minor theme in my beauty faves this month.
Um. Someone.
Is obsessed.
With radiant orchid EVERYTHING.
I know I’m a marketer’s dream and all but Pantone REALLY did me in this year by naming it the color of the year. Dying.
Let’s start with nails. Remember how last year I was obsessed with all things mint? Mint jeans, mint nails, mint furniture? Well. This year, it’s lavender and lilac and radiant orchid. For the first half of the month, I had essie lilacism on my nails. Such a gorgeous soft purple. But then, I found my bottle of butter london molly coddled (this was also a favorite last year) and it ruled the last two weeks. Pinkish purpley with my name all over it.
So pretty. I also wore a matte top coat over that during one wear. Loved it.
Okay, this baby is solving my dry skin face issues. You might remember me talking about this trish mcevoy beauty booster serum a few years ago. I loved it, along with the moisturizer. Or should I say, I THOUGHT I loved the moisturizer. I actually did, but I think something in it (maybe too much silicone?) was irritating my face and making it super red. I stopped using it last year when I bought the Josie Maran moisturizer and I guess I stopped using the serum too, because I found a bottle in my bathroom that had about a third left. I started using it at night again and after the second day, was blown away at how much more moisturized my skin was. So then I started using it during the day too.
It was life changing for my face. Seriously.
I guess it has something to do with hyaluronic acid helping your skin absorb moisture or something like that, but I am talking noticeable differences. No more flakes on my face, no more dry patches, nothing. The downside is that it is so super expensive. It’s actually MORE expensive now than when I last bought it. And even worse, since I’ve been using it twice per day, it goes quickly. You only need a few drops and it’s a very watery consistency. But I love it. This bottle is empty so I did purchase another and am waiting on it. I’m hoping that once the weather warms up, I can go back to using it once per day?
We shall see.
So speaking of moisturizers, remember last month when I talked about the caudalie vinexpert? Well. After I’d apply it, it would “ball” up on my skin. I thought it was my dry skin just flaking off. I really liked the feel of the cream and thought it was just my face. But after reading reviews, it’s definitely the product. I wanted to like it so much because it gives a little glow and the consistency feels like silk. The bottle is almost gone, so I will still use it on days when I don’t wear makeup – because attempting to put makeup over it is a nightmare.
In the meantime, I grabbed this other sample of caudalie moisturizer in vinoperfect from a sephora rewards box I got in december. This was one of the 500 point perks and I grabbed it after Christmas.
It still has a little tint and is wonderfully moisturizing but without the downside of the vinoexpert. The jury is still out on whether I will purchase a full size because tonight I’m going to order a new Josie Maran moisturizer since they are available again! I’m semi-devastated though and mad at myself for looking at reviews of the new formulation because it seems like people are hating it.
Seriously hope I love it as much as the old stuff.
This month on my face, I did something different: I mixed my CC cream and BB cream. WHOA. Totally love this combo. Initially I did this because I self tanned my face (omg come on summer) and needed the dr. jart for a little more color. But as it faded, I started combining the two and it’s just perfect. I use about a half pump of each. Perfect perfect perfect.
Along with that, I’ve almost finished the dark contour shade in my maskcara iiid palette. I LOVE this. Again, I only use the darker shade to contour my cheeks and stuff (since I hate foundation, I don’t use the other side that much) and it’s just the perfect shade for my pasty skin. I’m pretty sure Cara is reformulating or repackaging this product and it will be available later? I might be making that up. Don’t hold me to it.
You know it’s getting warm when I whip out the bronzer! So. Something happened this month where I just truly COULDN’T STAND the cold and snow anymore and was all “screw it, I’m wearing summer makeup.” It’s hard for me to wear bronzer year round because I’m so pale – I just look like an orange idiot. But my too faced chocolate soliel looks awesome over the maskcara HAC palette on the cheekbones. I adore this stuff too. I’ve gone through one whole compact each summer for the last three years. The milk chocolate shade works better for me since it’s so light.
AND IT SMELLS LIKE CHOCOLATE. Really.
More of the same – benefit lollitint, probably the third month in a row I’m talking about it but I want to shout from the rooftops how gorgeous the shade is. Cannot get enough. I don’t wear powder on my face since my skin is dry, so I will tap this on my cheeks after the CC/BB cream combo.
Sometimes I’ll add this blush, MAC gentle, on top – it’s such a pretty purplish pink. Other times I’ll just use this if I’m in a rush. This shade is two or three years old but probably one of my favorite MAC products. If I’m not reaching for one of my tarte blushes, I’ll pick this as my go-to pink. It looks very natural, despite the purpleness.
Eyeball thingies: NARS shadow primer is still winning for me. I did try a sample of the too faced shadow insurance and used another little sample of urban decay primer potion (I used that for yearsss) and neither stood up to this. Even if I don’t wear eyeshadow, sometimes I throw this on my lids to even and smooth everything out.
An oldie but a goodie – naked 2 got a lot of use this month. The shades I reach for everyday include bootycall and tease, but I also used YDK, busted and verve a lot this month. Along with my 24/7 pencil in mushroom. Best neutral shade ever.
Tons of you have been asking me if I bought the urban decay electric palette. I did not… yet. But sadly? I don’t think I’m going to. Yes I love me some neons and for at least ten years, I only wore crazy ass shades on my eyes. These days though, I tend to be doing more neutral shades or even matte shades or just purples – probably because I’m getting old. The other thing is that I feel like I have a version of every shade that is in the palette – mostly MAC shadows that I’ve had for a few years and few old urban decay ones. I kind of want to buy it just to look at it… but I also can’t stand clutter.
So! If you have the electric palette, you have to let me know if you can’t live without it. I’m easily convinced.
This is going to seem like a weird product, but I dig it. It’s actually a lip exfoliator in stick form. called lip scuff. How about I bought one of these from the body shop for the first time in HIGH SCHOOL?! I can’t believe they still have it! These days I usually use a lip scrub from lush, but when it’s in stick form, you don’t have to use your fingers to get in the scrub pot. It’s not as easy to remove (read: lick off) as the lush scrubs and is more gentle, but I like having it in stick form when I’m in a rush. And it tastes minty.
More purpley things. From left to right – a frequent favorite from last year, revlon balm stain in darling. I wish they had this shade in the matte versions.
Then bare minerals marvelous moxie in ring leader. I got this with something at ulta months ago, but I really like it – it reminds me of my old favorite MAC dazzleglass, rags to riches.
And NYX butter gloss in merengue. Love these things so much. Some of the most gorgeous moisturizing lip products ever.
No, I’m not doing anything different with my hair – still flipping my lid over all the macadamia products. And my fave batiste dry shampoo. And the kenra blow dry spray. But I have to take a second to rave again about these little deep repair masque packs. I love the size. They are perfect for traveling because I can get two uses (if you have short hair, you could probably get three or four) and they are so easy to pack.
[P.S. a lot of you have asked me how I deal with the “white cast” from the dry shampoo. I spray it in my hair, crazily use my hands to rub it all through my scalp and my hair. Then let it dry completely – like ten minutes or so – before any styling. The white cast should be totally gone.]
Hmmm. Do we think I have a perfume rollerball problem? I do, I do.
They are just so cheap! And I get so bored! I mean, I’d love to wear my bond no. 9 Â perfume all day erryday but I also would like to have money left to eat. Or to buy things that will last, like ridiculous purses.
You may remember that I was super excited for the elizabeth and james perfumes to come out a few months ago. Now my issue is that I really like them both. I have the black bottle – bought because the scent notes tend to be my favorite. I love warm fragrances. But my nose my be changing a bit. I used to hate anything floraly – and mostly still do because it makes me sneeze – but after loving flowerbomb, I decided to give the white version a chance too. And I love it just as much. I think the scent is mostly peony? Or so it says.
Either way, it’s a bit floraly. And delicious. And I like it.
And I’ve almost demolished this nest midnight fleur perfume. I know I’ve talked about it for four straight months but it smells so good I want to eat it. Please tell me you have since gone and at least tested it. SO FREAKING GOOD.
Like I don’t even understand how this smells so good.
My dry skin is getting a lot better and while I’m sure I can thank the (slightly, at times) warmer weather for that, I also really think it’s the kiehl’s creme de corps. Mainly because I’ve used the body shop butters for years, but this creme de corps is new to my skin. Heck, maybe it’s the combo of both. I just know I love this. It seems as moisturizing as the butters but it’s not as greasy or thick.
And! AND. Okay, here is one thing I bought this month. Let me tell you. I don’t use many estee lauder products (though the blush in tease is one of my favorites and I do like the advanced night repair), but my mom sure does. A few weeks ago, she asked me pick her up a bottle of something she needed (that I now can’t remember) and I had to wait at the counter FOR.EV.ER. Sandlot style.
Really, I probably stood at the counter for 20 minutes looking for someone and trying to get help. I don’t know if it was some brilliant sales move, because I ended up buying this ridiculous whipped body cream. I smelled it when I first walked up to the counter. Then as I was standing there and waiting, I couldn’t get it out of my mind. I was inhaling my arm where I tested it. Despite the name, bronze goddess is not a self/gradual tanner – just the name of the cream. And I think a perfume, maybe? It smells like straight up summer – like sand and sun and sunscreen (but not coconut). The smell might be reminiscent of old coppertone sunscreen from when I was like ten years old. Regardless – this will be a scent that you will love or hate. For me, it shot me right into a nostalgia spiral and I had to have it.
It’s strong. I will probably only use it on special occasions or when I’m craving summer. And I might not use it on my whole body since it is so strong. But just… go to the counter and smell it. Summer in a jar.
And that’s all the things! You know what’s up… tell me what you are loving on this month. I still haven’t found any spring things that I’m freaking out over. It’s kind of depressing. I was hoping for some pastels and things like that. I do have my eye on the it cosmetics palette because they all look like shades that I will wear, but I need another palette like I need a hole in the head. Such is life.
{as usual, none of this is sponsored and all of these products were purchased by me. i am not affiliated with any of the companies above, nor do i accept free products from them. just love to talk about what i like, makeup junkie to makeup junkie. there are a few amazon affiliate links above. thank you for being here!}

Dumb question here – how exactly do the lollitints work? I was checking them out at Sephora today, and it just looks like a big swipe of nail polish would wind up on my cheek, and yeah.. nit a pretty thing.. It just looks so painty?
I still love the Lalicious coconut body butter and sugar scrub. They’re both at Costco. The texture of the cream is a bit thicker than the Trader Joe’s one, but I just love it.
not dumb at all! i totally get what you mean. it’s a liquid stain-like product, so you only use a little drop and blend it right into your checks. i use my fingers but i’ve seen some people use a brush. i do think it’s key to do one cheek at a time – as opposed to dabbing it on both and blending one first.
I love reading your beauty faves, and definitely look forward to them! I got a packet of that macadamia hair mask from a friend and have been OBSESSED. Target actually has the big tub of it online for $17-$19!! The price varies, but it did get down to $17.50 and I scooped it up! Everywhere else sells it for $33, so total steal. I’m currently loving my Kat Von D Esperanza palette for springy colors. Have you seen that yet or do you have it? I love using the mint green and the purple shades together! Also, the coral color is really pretty!
I checked Target.com for the Macadamia Hair Mask (Like Jessica, I buy the little packets)…anywho, Target.com has the mask for $17.50….STEAL. I contemplated doing the whole ‘buy online, pick up in store’…but quickly said heck no when I’d have to pay for shipping. Instead, I headed to the store, hoping they’d have it in stock…and they did! BUT! It was $30+ in store. WHATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT in the world. Total rip off. I took it to Guest Services and they matched the online price for me. The weird thing is, the online price isn’t even a discounted price, that’s simply the price it is online. Why there is such a big difference between the online and in store price, beats me. Just wanted to share and give everyone a heads up. :)
Reading these posts always makes me head over to Sephora’s site — I want to buy all the things! :)
I love your monthly beauty posts! I am a huge fan of seasonal nail polishes – such an easy way to change up the colors constantly, like I do haha.
What shade are you in the IIID HAC Foundation? It is being reformulated, which is why no one can get it in the medium shade. The whole product launch has been odd….almost as if it’s being strung along to encourage hype. I’d like to try it and encourage a start up business. But it’s hard to do when the product isn’t available :(
i have the light! it is perfect for me because i’m super pasty and fair. i am usually the first or second shade in any line of foundation/bb cream/etc.
i don’t really think it’s been odd – as a blogger myself i can’t imagine trying to determine supply and demand without a huge company (like loreal or something) backing you. i think that the product sold a lot more than they anticipated right away – i can’t say for sure but that’s just what i have gathered. i do think they should have made the light and dark versions more versatile? i know she said that almost everyone would use medium – so i agree they should have had more of that product stocked up!
I love Essie shades of purples too! Splash of Grenadine is always a fave of mine for my toes….Give Guerlain products a try if you haven’t yet – the best lipsticks, eye shadows, liners and mascara – all without harsh ingredients and parabens. Loving the new shades of their lipsticks for spring!
When I was at sephora last weekend I tried that E&J perfume and wanted to swim in it.
I love the Kiehl’s lotion and have been using it for years. You should also try their moisturizing body wash and soy milk & honey body polish, if you haven’t already. They will make your skin feel amazing!
I also have the urban decay shadow primer, and although it’s better than any other one’s I’ve tried, it could be a bit better. Definitely going to try the Nars one. Also, I soooo want that Urban Decay electric palette too!
I bought the It Cosmetics Naturally Pretty palette for a steal on QVC a few months back and it is *stunning*. Do it do it do it! You won’t regret it. Even if you don’t need a palette. I am the same. Palette hoarder!
I love the same Too Faced bronzer, and this month I’ve been hooked on Dior Addict lip glow, Milani Luminoso, Tarte Maracuja eye cream, Kiehl’s Olive Fruit hair mask, Too Faced’s new a la Mode palette, theBalm Instain in Lace, Boscia makeup break-up, and Anastasia brow pencil in Taupe.
Love these posts!! So much fun. I look forward to it all month!
A new reader here – love this post! I love reading how other people use products together, really helps figure out my own beauty routine. Love the moisturizing products, too… Living in the Midwest has been havoc on dry skin. Looking forward to reading more of these! :)
My husband bought me L’Occitane Shea butter ultra rich body cream for Christmas and I used every ounce of it. I like rich lotion and usually use body butters, but this goes on so much easier and my skin got sooooo soft. It has a light, clean scent and I love it! I ran out and bought another tub. I also received a sample of Valentina perfume and can’t stop smelling myself! It supposedly is a blend of peach, vanilla, white truffle and patchouli…whatever! It’s divine.
I’m obsessed with two things this month:
– The Body Shop body butters. It’s been a while since I’ve used these, so I randomly stocked up last week. I’m almost through an entire tub of coconut, which goes to show how often I use it.
– Too Faced Bonjour Soleil bronze palette. OMG. I use chocolate soleil to contour, sun bunny for an all over bronze, and snow bunny as a bronze highlight. So amazing. Plus, the brush is super soft and lovely.
Have you tried Lorac’s eye primer?? I got a sample of it when I bought one of their palette’s a couple months ago and I think I like it better than the Urban Decay primer. I’m curious if you’ve tried that one and how it compares to Nars. I too prefer the squeeze tube to the wand thingie (technical term), and am trying to decide if I should buy the Nars primer or a full size of the Lorac. Just wondering if you’ve compared them at all!
I use the Lorac Behind the Scenes eye primer too and I also think it’s way better than UD Primer Potion and Too Faced Shadow Insurance…. by a long shot. But haven’t tried Nars. I think Lorac and Nars may be similar. Makeup by Tiffany D has compared them a few times offhandedly in videos and it sounds like they may be really close.
Not to answer for Jessica. Just what I’ve heard about the two. Hope that helps!!
i think i have a sample of lorac, so i will have to try. i agree – HATE the packaging of the nars primer. i wish they’d change it.
silicones are non-irritating ingredients…maybe the moisturizer you used had perfume/alcohol in it, those can irritate/dry out skin in the long run.
the price for your serum is ridiculous ^^ paula’s choice has quite a few hyaluronic acid serums for a third of that price : )
i’ve been using the naked 2 palette a lot as well, i “rediscovered” it because of Lisa E.’s “universal beautifying look” video in which she uses the naked 2
I love those beauty posts SO MUCH ! Also I can’t believe it’s the end of march already, it feels like I was roasting the Christmas turkey two weeks ago.
Going on from poultry to beauty, I don’t know if you’ve tried Rexaline products yet, but I’m using their Hydra Radiant 5X Plus cream, and it’s a GODSEND. It’s full of hyaluronic acid that’s been fragmented into small molecules to better penetrate the skin, pretty much like a serum, and it’s actually a cream that help the skin cells produce and regulate their own moisture, instead of just adding it artificially. It also has a sun block (SPF15) obviously, and what they call the Lux Complex, which a mix of vitamin C and lactic acid to clear stains and make (and keep !) the skin clearer, just like after a 10 hour night. The result is a smooth, plump, and really luminous skin, and I actually have a dry skin as a result of too much use of anti acne products, and I currently have the best skin I’ve ever had.
Anyway, thanks for all the beauty tips, have a good day :)
And now that i’ve written all this, I realize I should contact them and get a job there because I sound like one of their rep :)
FYI….The vinexpert was just reacting to the hyaluronic acid. The two do not work together!
ahhh really?! i wonder why that is?? unfortunately the vinexpert was doing it before i started using the serum again. even on my bare skin!
Batiste also has dry shampoos with tint in them for dark hair to help with with the whitecast problem! I recently placed a big ole order to the body shop…needed to re-up my body butter and decided to try out some of their skincare products as well. I stumbled straight into a 40% off sitewide sale and might have gone a little bit buckwild. Speaking of the body shop, Essie Button really likes their light bronzer for pale skin, so you might try that for contouring once you run out of your Maskcara cream. P.S. if you don’t watch Essie’s youtube videos you should because you would absolutely love her.
i have watched her and love her.
have you tried/smelled the body shop’s blueberry body butter? OMG SMELLS SO GOOD. also i’m a hardcore fan of MAC’s mineralize skinfinish in soft and gentle. perfect for highlighting and achieving that ‘dewy’ look which is always fun for summer.
blueberry?! no! i must find it. and i agree – i also love soft and gentle.
I also love Naked2. Perfect neutral palette and the brush it comes with is great as well.
You have me hooked on the Revlon balm stains and yes to the yes for the Nest rollerball. Best perfume ever!
Did you know that Sephora is actually selling a Radiant Orchid combo? The packaging is the Pantone square of Radiant Orchid, and they have a nail, polish and liptsick in that shade. Sorry for giving a new reason to shop ;-)
yes i did see that! i haven’t loved the pantone products in the past though so i am hesitant. it is so pretty though.
If you want to experiment with more affordable options instead of the Trish mcavoy…you might give lumene a try. They have a newly renamed dry skin c+ cocktail serum that has changed my polar vortex suffering skin. It’s about $15 at cvs, I won’t live without it now.
Great favorites again this month!
I really enjoyed reading your blog post!! I have gotten away from all my blogs and cooking blogs~~however I am getting back to them. I didn’t realize how much I missed them!! Thanks for sharing!!
The IT palatte is a must! I’m not usually in love with matte eye shadows, and I got this back in December off QVC. I’m still using it, at least three times a week and love, love, love it!
Love the Creme to Corps, such an amazing lotion. Next time I go to Nordies I’m looking for that Bronze Goddess, I’m craving summer!
My friend’s mom had a ton of samples of Jo Malone and the Peony & Blush Suede smells so good, but Jo Malone fragrances are so expensive!
You know you can scrub your lips with your toothbrush instead ewasting money. It leaves the lips like silk. I also use nivea on my lips and love the smell. The original is the one I use.
I’ve been DYING for the new IT matte palette. I feel like I need to share my newest discovery with you… I’ve been on the hunt my whole life to find the perfect blush and this month I found it. The hourglass ambient lighting blush. I’m not the biggest fan of sparkles on my cheeks but I feel like this makes your cheeks… glow or something. You’ve got to try it. ! Love your beauty posts I wish you did one every week!
i can’t believe they still make the Lip Scuff! i used it religiously in high school too. ha!
I picked up the “new & improved” Josie Moran moisturizer yesterday, have yet to try it on my face, but only made the purchase because it seemed more moisturizing and oily (in a good way…maybe she increased the percentage of Argan oil ) on my hand than the original. I felt the original wasn’t moisturizing enough for my DRY face.
I must try the Bronze Goddess…A couple of years back Tom Ford did a line for Estee Lauder called Azuree Soleil. I loved it. It was becoming difficult to find anyone who still had it in stock that I had my mother driver to the army base in Puerto Rico to get me another bottle and then mail it to me..crazy..lol…I still have a half a bottle left of the scent that I use only on special occasions. If this is anything like Azuree Soleil I will be extremely happy : )
Elf brand (found at Target) has a lip scrub in lipstick-tube form and it’s awesome! Like you said about the Body Shop brand, it’s not as aggressive, definitely more gentle…but for a whopping $3, I’ll take it! If you’re looking for a cheaper alternative, I recommend trying the Elf brand. :)
I’m currently obsessed with the brand Bite at Sephora. I bought their clementine matte lip crayon and LOVE IT. It’s such a gorgeous shade and it wears so beautifully (doesn’t crack or bleed) and it’s actually a little moisturizing (not to mention it smells like citrus because it’s a food grade product). I’m going back to get a pink/coral color and the Bite Agave Lip Treatment, which I got a sample of when I bought the first lip color. It smells like vanilla and is so moisturizing without being too sticky. I love it on my lips overnight!
I use the Batiste dry shampoo too. I find that it really helps to apply the dry shampoo at night before I go to bed. By the time I wake up in the morning and am ready to style my hair, it has been fully absorbed and there is no white cast at all. LOVE that stuff. I definitely need to go get my hands on some of these products. Especially that Macadamia hair mask!
what a good idea to put it on at night !!! one of the “why didnt i think of that”moments of my day toady !
E&J Nirvana is the only perfume I’ve ever gone crazy for. Love it.

skincare faves…
http://us.lizearle.com/cleanse-tone-moisturise
i am literally obsessed with the cleanser and the cloth that comes with it. after one use, my skin felt soft and smooth. and continued to feel that way even thru this crazy winter. it might seem a bit much for face wash, but it lasts a really long time. i’m a total believer.
http://www.paulaschoice.com/shop/skin-care-categories/aha-and-bha-exfoliants/_/RESIST-BHA-9/
now this product…love. whether it really diminishes scars and wrinkles – to be determined. but – for the love of all things glorious – it gives my skin the extra moisture it needs to finally quash the oil that my face produces throughout the day. (the oil that, no matter what primer I use, pushes my makeup off my skin so that any time i touch my face the makeup transfers from my face to my hand.) my makeup stays on longer and looks as good at hour 9 as it did at hour 1. love.
best part about both of these products? you can buy samples to try them out first! (i actually tried both of these as a result of my birchbox subscription – and ended up purchasing them shortly after.)
I’ve been loving my trader Joe’s body butter, milani luminoso, and the balm’s nude palette…I’m also aboutthisclose to finally caving and buying the lorac pro palette!
I’ve been highly recommending Hello by Harvey Prince to everyone. I got a sample of it in a birchbox back in December and I fell in love. It is the most perfect floral/clean scent. And I’m still hooked on my Naked3 palette. My love of pink toned eye shadows will never die.
So, back when my husband was my boyfriend, he bought me the Pantone color of the year coffee mug. That’s when I knew he was the one!
I haven’t added to my collection yet, but they’re so cute, I can’t wait to get more in my kitchen.

Ok! So I am LOVING all the lilac lately too. But! My “problem” is I still love the Mint. I’m obsessed still. I have tons of it. And pink (bc that’s just ME). And I love mint and pink. And now I’m loving the orchid and lilac thing too and I don’t know if I can move past mint bc I have so much of it (and still look good in it!)…Plus I have this “fear” that I’ll buy lilac Tieks and then I’ll realize that they don’t look good on my feet bc in my mind light purple makes everything look bigger (am I crazy?!) ??? But I want them bc the color is so pretty!
I EFFING LOVE LOLLITINT. UGH! Also the new Sephora Formula X LIQUID CRYSTALS nail polish line. Love, want them all. So sparkly, so pretty.
i really feel like i need to try the lollitint. AND i think i just got that too faced bronzer the other day. i forget…i was looking at 2 at sephora and cant remember now which one i picked but i remember the lady talking about it smelling like chocolate. why are all bronzers soooooo sparkly ? when i went to sephora and asked for a more matte bronzer i had like 2 to choose from ? i digress. I’m loving serge normant dry shampoo an dputting my hair in hot rollers for great big flowy waves (how 1980s of me i know). I’m just doing basic eye makeup with benefit eyeshadow pots and black liquid eyeliner. lasts all day. feeling blah about my lips though. its a bit windy now so i feel like when i exit the house with anything on my lips my hair does an IMMEDIATE bee line for my lips and sticks and drags gloss around my face !!! ugh. super love these posts.
I constantly find myself recommending ipsy. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT. Ten dollars a month for full size or delux sample size products (usually 5 products, sometimes 4) all in a cute cute cute cosmetic bag. Seriously, some of the bags are so great. I use them every single day. In April’s bag we’re all getting a travel size Urban Decay Black Velvet eyeliner!!! So exciting. I honestly love this subscription service and I wholeheartedly recommend it. Sign up here: http://www.ipsy.com/r/11ar
Do you use any concealers? I’m in the market for a new one, the Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage just isn’t cutting it anymore.
I am addicted to your beauty posts! I sit here nodding vigorously because I agree with everything (I want all the palettes but I hate keeping them uncluttered). I love the effect in your opening picture. Was that done with Lightroom?
Just bought the it Cosmetics CC cream yesterday, and LOVE it!! You can seriously see a difference! Thanks for the recommendation!
Oh, and on another note, i created a board on my pinterest (http://www.pinterest.com/hyeper17/) called “Beauty Products to Try” and 99% of them come from your beauty posts! I have a beauty product addiction, why not make it organized! lol
