Happy 4th Of July!
I hope you all have a fabulous and delicious 4th of July! And that you eat lots of cupcakes.
If today is just a regular Monday for you… you eat lots of cupcakes too. It will make Monday so much better. I promise.
[I’ll see you tomorrow with something freakishly amazing and triple-layered. Any guesses?]

Happy Fourth, Jessica! Hope you and Mr Sweet are enjoying your day! And I hope you guys have a chill and mellow holiday :)
With lots and lots of cupcakes!
Looking forward to seeing tomorrow’s post! Have a fun day!
Happy 4th to all my American friends! I’ll have to take your advice Jessica and eat cupcakes as it’s just a regular Monday here in Ireland. It’s sunny though :)
Anything triple-layered is going to be good!
…trifle?
that’s my dessert today at least :)
happy 4th to you!
yum! Can’t wait to see! Happy 4th!!
Happy 4th, Jessica!
We won’t be having cupcakes, but we will be enjoying the “Better Than Crack Brownies” because I made them yesterday! Definitely a worthy substitute for cupcakes :)
Happy 4th of July!
Eating cupcakes makes everything better!
Happy Independence Day! I can’t wait to see what you are cooking up for tomorrow’s post! :-)
Happy 4th of July to you too Jess! Today is a regular back-to-work Monday for me, but the Canada Day long weekend was still great. Can’t wait to see the triple layered mystery recipe tomorrow… I’m thinking cake?
A flag cake!?!
Happy fourth to you! Enjoy it!
Happy July 4th!!!!
Can’t wait for tomorrow’s recipe! :D
Enjoy your day!
I hope my day is filled with cupcakes!
Happy 4th! I’m guessing a s’mores.
Be sure have plenty of sweets, cheese and bacon today! It’s a holiday, after all :)
I’m guessing a triple layer bacon sandwich!
How adorable! I’m guessing a layered cake tomorrow. :)
I heart cupcakes. and I will be making your better than crack brownies on July 17 (its the day after my fitness competition!)
Happy 4th to you too! A trifle?
Don’t worry girl, I will be eating LOTS of cookies!
freakish and triple-layered things make me hungry :)
Haha eat cupcakes no matter where you live!!! :) Of course. Happy fourth!!!
My guess is a trifle!
Looking forward to making your funfetti cupcakes this afternoon!
Happy Fourth, Mr. and Mrs. How Sweet!
Happy 4th of July! And P.S. I am SO making these cupcakes! Not today because I’m too busy stuffing my face in Chicago, but sometime soon. They look amazing!! Thanks for sharing the recipe! :)
Chocolate & peanut butte layered deliciousness? Maybe that is just wishful thinking….. Happy 4th and those cupcakes look awesome! YUMMMMMM!
Ooooh, I’m eagerly awaiting tomorrow’s post! I can’t even begin to guess what it could be, because with you Jessica, one never knows! :)
I hope whatever it is involves peanut butter. Or Nutella. Or both…
I stumbled upon your website recently and now have it on my Bookmarks menu…just LOVE it and your fun, unique voice! Anyway, I have a favorite Mixed Berry Cobbler recipe (Dorie Greenspan) that is fabulous but when I saw your Skillet Strawberry Cobbler it looked so good I had to try it. While it came out looking wonderful, I have to say that there was a tinny/metal like after taste to the fruit. I’m more than a little baffled since I’m a very decent baker. Could that possibly be because of the cast iron skillet? Did I do something wrong in the prep with the skillet? Can’t quite figure it out and hoping that you can!
Happy 4th of July and Merci Beaucoup for your help!
Happy 4th! :)
Happy 4th, Jessica!
I have to give you a BIG thank you – I made your Homemade Funfetti Cupcakes for my birthday yesterday and they were FANTASTIC!!

THANK YOU!!
Happy 4th Jess! I hope you do a wrap-up post about your day :D That would be fun.
And….is it tiramisu??! Or, some kind of napoleon ice cream or cake?! Oyyy I can’t wait to see :)
A trifle cupcake?
Instead of cutting everything up and putting it in a bowl, putting berries and whipped cream between slices of a cupcake, topped with more berries and whipped cream?
Yummmm.
Happy 4th!
Just found your blog… and already can’t wait for upcoming recipes! :)
tiramisu??
can’t wait, whatever it is!!!
Happy 4th to you! I know I, for one, celebrated with a lot of cake. You would be proud.
Happy Independence Day!
I’m thinking the triple layers will involve BROWNIES in some form… Can’t wait to check it out!
I just wanted to say thank-you for recognizing that to many people, July 4th, was just a regular Monday. I am one of those who do not celebrate holidays and I thank-you for that respect you offered to me. Have a lovely week ahead. Happy baking, too! Love your recipes.
I ate way too much, now it’s major cardio time! lol.
Does it have to involve brownies, cookies, and frosing topped with some sugared bacon???
Yummmm! I believe cupcakes make everything better!
I made a blueberry buckle, and we ate it with whipped cream :)
Adorable cupcakes! Hope you had a great 4th! :)
