Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!Â
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)

Magic moment of the summer: sitting down to dinner at 11pm because we forgot to start the grill until 7:00pm… but we were all surrounded by candlelight, fresh flowers, friends, delicious food, and plenty of Pimm’s cup so it was absolutely perfect! Cooking dinner outside at sunset with zero rush is one of the ultimate summer pleasures.
I also pre-ordered on Amazon!
My magic moment this summer was seeing my very own jalapeños and scotch bonnets grow :)
My moment? Geesh, where to start? I kinda sorta have been cycling and running for about a year, but never took it seriously. Then a boy implied to me that I couldn’t do an event called the Hotter’n Hell. Triple Threat. So I kicked my butt in gear and trained hard. I ended up commiting to an even harder competition in the event called the Triple Threat (13 mi bike ride, 100 mi road bike ride, 1/2 marathon trail run down here in Texas). And this past weekend, I proved to that guy (while he sat on his couch) that I could do it, and I actually did WELL for my first time. It was the most rewarding experience I have had. The medals and trophy I got at the event will forever remind me that I can do whatever I darn well feel like.
My magic moment was when I met the man of my dreams :D It was a warm summer night. It was totally a love at the first sight!
It’ s been one very memorable summer, but I think my magic moment was running along the Sea Wall with one of my besties just a few days ago on our vacation to Vancouver. It’s one of my favourite running destinations, the weather was perfect, the mountains in the distance and the water we ran along was beautiful, I felt absolutely zero stress, and everything was just so fantastic. Thanks so much for this giveaway, Jess!
My magic moment was when I saw my favorite band in concert!
What a great giveaway! My magic moment of the summer would have to be a simple evening catching up with old friends while out of town. Amazing.
So many special moments! Graduating nursing school, passing my RN exam, getting my dream job (labor and deliver nurse), and going on a 3 week European travel adventure with my best friend. Phew! It’s been great! I think telling my parents about my job at our favorite ice cream shop (smitten in oakland,ca) might be #1 though :)
Having barely any cell phone reception while in St Thomas made for a most wonderful relaxing trip with my husband!
And of course I preordered the book. Can’t wait for it and to meet you Oct 3rd in Boston!!!!
Just pre-ordered your book on Amazon! So excited to finally read it!
I had my first baby (a baby girl!) on June 21st and she has turned my life upside down in the BEST possible way ever. While my life is now magic because of her, the moment that stands out is when she was placed on my chest and looked at me. Soon you will experience this (soooo excited for you!!!) and your heart will grow and break into a million pieces at the same time. Congratulations on your book and baby!!
Sitting on the fire escape drinking bubble tea Mai Tais!
My magic moment of the summer was when my 5 year old niece and nephew stayed with me for a week. They are twins and I love them to pieces. There were many moments, but cuddling with them while watching TV and talking to them over breakfast and hearing about their five year old wisdome were some of my favorites!
My magic moment was when I had biked around the city all day with my boyfriend and we were walking back to the hotel happy and exhausted and full :)
Lounging on my back lawn under the glow of the supermoon, listening to all the critter noises in the trees. :)
Magic moment: eating croissants, eclairs, and baguette for breakfast on the bank of the Seine river in Paris with my best friend. It was pretty rockin’.
Wow. This summer has sure been great and full of great, memorable moments: from the one where Boyfriend and I sorta just decided to finally move in together, then to finally find OUR place and hauling the boxes and unpacking! Then there is also that of my high school best friend giving birth to a cute little girl :-)
And that of my lil’ sister dedicating her final thesis to me and thanking me for all the support and love I have given her through the years *melts*
And there is also that of my 5 year old goddaughter cuddling me and whispering how much she loved me :-D
And then all the normal, weekday nights when we cuddle with boyfriend while watching series :-)
Thanks so much for the terrific giveaway!! :-)
My magic moment has been quality couch time with my 14 yr old. She chooses to sit next to me and we look at pinterest together. I can’t believe I have a teen that actually wants to just hang with her mama.
Magic moment of the summer was walking on the beach with my family and searching for sharks teeth (I’m obsessed with sharks and shark week) and finding a sharks tooth and then turning around and…finding ANOThER sharks tooth. I told them “you don’t find sharks teeth, they find you!”
My magic moment was leaving my son at college and not really being sad but proud beyond measure. Cant wait to get my hands on your book!!!

Great giveaway – Pittsburghers are so generous! :)
Magic moment of the summer is a tie between a great night out with my husband to see Steely Dan and a sunny day at Presque Isle with our little family. I discovered that my five year-old is fearless in the waves – it is my favorite summer day trip location.
Sigh, not many magic moments this summer (whomp, whomp) but I would say finding out my medical leave had been extended. Life-saving miracle! Love reading everyone’s moments!
Just bought the cookbook- can’t wait to get it!
My magic moment this summer would probably be the time I got to spend with my boyfriend and his family at Holiday World. I’d never been before, so we all piled into the car and made a day of it. We had so much fun, and despite a snag along the way (hello lost debit card… scary story but all was well) I would do this day over again a million times.
I think my summer magic moment hasn’t happened yet…next Wednesday my husband and I sans toddler are going to the US Open and I can’t wait!!! The other really magic moment was finally finding a house after months of searching…New York is expensive!!

Magic moment of the summer? Being really excited about the cherry tomato plant on my deck….and then having a squirrel make it his favorite napping spot… I got a whole FOUR tomatoes from that plant. When I went to throw it away, the dirt was FILLED with peanuts. #TrueStory #Womp Also, 6,000+ comments? HOLY COW.
My magic moment of summer (it was actually more like moments, I guess) was helping my boyfriend train for his first (then second and third!) triathlon! When we started dating a few years ago he kinda ran, sometimes, but that was it. He started running with me and got hooked. After seeing my do a few triathlons last summer he bought a bike, joined a pool, we started training together and he’s now totally hooked on this crazy sport. And, he lost 30 pounds in the process, without really even trying. It’s been so motivating and inspiring to watch this all happen.
My magic moment of this summer was having all of our closest friends spend a long weekend at my family beach house. We take a trip with this group of people every year, and it was even sweeter this year thanks to the addition of one of our friends baby boy!
