I am an art teacher and will be teaching a new digital photography class this new school year. If ok with you, I will be sending my students to your website to get inspiration for photos, composition, style, etc.! Beautiful job!
Haha, the colors are so vibrant, that’s why I asked. Filters cut out a lot of the glare. I am still fiddling with my DSLR to get colors right without filters. You’re just that good (whether you’d admit it or not ;) )
YAY for getting your ‘real’ camera!!! =)
Thanks for letting us peek into your getaway, looks like you’re having a blast!!
All the pictures look awesome! I’m with you, as long as the picture comes out nice I’m happy.
Not sure of names, filters or anything else, I just point and shoot then cross my fingers. :-)
Look at you, fancy photographer. Those tomatoes look amazing. I’m obsessed with the yellow and green zebras. They are as close to candy as vegetables come.
I don’t have a point and shoot – only my DSLR and iPhone. Before I got my DSLR I was using a Canon that was over 3 years old. I honestly do not know anything about cameras.
I love that last shot of the lake at night. I’m super jealous!
The drink looks fabulous–can’t wait to try it. Pinnacle whipped cream vodka is one of my all-time favorite alcohols. It’s smooth enough to be taken straight, and it mixes very well. My favorites are super easy: root beer and Pinnacle tastes just like a root beer float, and orange soda and Pinnacle is the most delicious dreamsicle. I guarantee you won’t even believe you’re drinking booze (until one or two drinks later maybe).

What a beautiful lake :) (the doughnut is pretty beautiful too)
I miss Vernors! Feel like sending me some? LOL :) Looks like you’re having a great time!
Vernors! It is the perfect type of ginger ale.
Gorgeous! And Leinenkugel makes the best summer beers!
Umm, I do not believe you when you say “photography is not a passion of mine”! You’re entirely too good at it!
Such beautiful photos! And what a lovely day. That would be my perfect day of relaxation and fun.
I have that same beer in my fridge, it’s a good one!

I bet you are glad that you picked up the camera, these look very nice, especially the salt water taffy! :)
Gorgeous photos Jess. I have to ask, do you use any filters on your lens?
Thanks! Uhh.. I honestly don’t know what a filter is? I don’t think I have one, I just have a regular lens?

I cannot believe that you don’t like photography, you are so good at it!
Vernor’s and vanilla ice cream…so good! It’s one of the best things from Michigan!
Look at you, fancy photographer. Those tomatoes look amazing. I’m obsessed with the yellow and green zebras. They are as close to candy as vegetables come.
I’ve actually been looking for a nice point-and-shoot…any suggestions?

Oops. I commented on the wrong post. This was supposed to be for this post AND your cake batter martini post. My mistake!
Ahhh… Vernors! People in Chicago don’t know what it is, and it makes me sad :-(.
So, I hear that donuts which are served on 100% recycled napkins are also 100% calorie free =) Your photos are amazing!!!
Ah this makes me miss Michigan so much. I’d love to be by the lake with a Vernor’s right now!!
Um…is that Moosetracks I see?!?!? Have you had Bell’s Oberon yet…my alltime fav MI brew! Ps…I have the same camera as you!
