As promised, here is Mr. How Sweet’s belated birthday dinner!
I’m sure it’s not hard to figure out what he wanted… steak, chicken, and a side of… steak. But I made some minor adjustments after a few glasses of this:
And ended up with this:
Whipped sweet potatoes.
Roasted green beans.
These were incredible. They almost tasted like… french fries?!
His and hers filets.
Bet you can’t guess which one is mine.
A delicious birthday dinner.
Made even better by some of this:
Mr. How Sweet is trying to sneak a second bowl right now and doesn’t think I can see or hear him. It’s pretty entertaining.

I’m Jessica and this is where I share my stuff. You will find a balance of healthy recipes, comfort food and indulgent desserts.

I’ve been dreaming about whipped sweet potatoes. I saw Nigella make a whipped sweet potato and regular potato mash the other day and I can’t get it out of my head. This is a sign. I need to make these STAT.
Happy bday (belated) Mr. How Sweet!

What a lucky man you have-this looks delicious! Whipped sweet potatoes are my favorite for sure, by far the favorite potatoe of mine (unless of course were talking skinned red baby potatoes-yum!)

Yum, yum, yum, yum. It all looks SO good.
The cuts of meat made me laugh…generally what my boyfriend’s and my plate look like. Or, sometimes we START with equal sized pieces and I just let him eat half of mine.

The green beans sound wonderful. I am really loving green beans these days, especially from the farmer’s market.
