Hmmm, I’m not sure I see the problem here;) I haven’t red meat in 3 months. It sounds SOOO good to me right now! I bet you’ll make tons of fantastic dishes with it! :)
Yep. That’s the way it goes. You tell him what you want, maybe even give him a list!, and he either brings back too much or not enough.
We had a Labor Day shindig this year and hubs brought back 5 pkgs of 12 hotdogs, 10lbs hamburger meat, and 3 packs of pop. We were expecting 30 people. Yeah, that was overkill! I hate hotdogs, don’t really care for red meat a whole lot, and we don’t hardly drink pop! Needless to say, I hate hotdogs even more, am a little more than burned out on red meat and all hopped on sugar from the pop!
So funny! Occasionally my husband will offer to go grocery shopping for me. I’ve learned that he needs a very specific list (very specific!). I always read over the list and try to figure out how he could misinterpret it and then add more details to make it clear.
So many possibilities with that meat! If you’re not sure – pop it in the freezer fast. I can’t even count how many times I’ve let meat go bad because I had too much in the fridge and forgot about it :(
Hahaha. My friend Lauryn and I were laughing about this earlier while tailgating. So funny. Makes me hungry for steak!
Also- you might appreciate that at the liquor store this morning (Yes, this morning, pre-tailgate, what a bunch of alcoholics) we discovered bacon flavored vodka. I thought my friends were joking about this to my roommate who loves bacon as much as you before I saw it for myself. I think it’s made solely for Bloody Marys, but it still really freaks me out.

All I can say is “Chili”
Be glad your readership is not vegan, that’s all I can say :) LOL
That just made me laugh so hard. Go bake some cookies for him… :)
CLASSIC! Sounds JUST like my bf. HAHA. Except he would also have grabbed chips and ice cream cones. And that’s it, not kidding.
Hahahahaha. That was a good laugh for today!

LOL cracked me up!
At least yours came home with meat…. mine comes home with every cookie imaginable!
Such a GUY.
Hahahahaha, that is priceless!
Hey now, that looks good to me. Now the real question is, what exactly was it that you sent him to the store *for*? Lol.
Hehehehehehehehe. You should just buy a whole cow from a butcher.
Perfect. and completely appropriate :)

I sent mine to the store by himself once. He came back with everything but what I needed. Nice to know it isn’t just my husband!
