Your husband gets you this massive cutting board for your birthday, and it’s the only gift you really care about.
Be back later with more birthday fun!
P.S. -> I had no clue Mr. How Sweet hijacked the site this morning. I had a recipe for you, but it will just have to wait! :)

I’m Jessica and this is where I share my stuff. You will find a balance of healthy recipes, comfort food and indulgent desserts.
Oooh! Is it weird to call a cutting board pretty?

OMG, Jess… it’s GORGEOUS! To hell with diamond jewelry… I think KITCHEN TOOLS are a foodie’s best friend! Have a wonderful birthday, Sweetie :-)

That is a beautiful cutting board – what are those things in the middle supposed to do? Shred? :-)

I’m honestly not sure – I thought it was for tenderizing meat? But that would be such a pain to clean. If anyone knows, please pipe up!

I’m thinking it’s to hold the meat in place when you cut it… Just my educated guess.
I LOVE IT! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

I love it! I had to laugh when I saw this post since yesterday, my husband and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary and he bought me the new oven I had wanted. I’m in love with this oven but my friends just don’t get it. :)

Haha, that’s awesome! Happy Birthday! You also know you’re a foodie when you want a kitchen scale for x-mas, which is what I’m hoping for, and will be dropping hints about soon enough :P

that is a pretty cool cutting board! I was excited about a cookbook and a new mixer that I got. :)

It is indeed very pretty, and it looks like the “juice wells” are really deep. That will be very convenient… and less messy.

That cutting board is beautiful. Good job Mr. How Sweet!

Happy birthday! Not weird at all to only care about the cutting board. If you asked me about the gifts I’ve received over the past few years I guarantee I could only remember the food related ones :)

Haha. I completely get where you’re coming from. One of my favorite Christmas presents ever was my 8in Chef’s Knife from my parents. That thing is still my baby! (Can I also mention that the same year I got a personalized cook book, wine glasses, an apple slicer, a paring knife, and caramel coffee syrup?)

Ohhhh yes! Now there’s a husband that knows you very, very well. I’m surprised he didn’t order a bacon cake!

I guess this proves I’m *not* a foodie. Bring on the diamonds for me BAHAHAHA! Nah, I’m just playin’. Happy birthday again. Enjoy your day!!! :)
