That is totally my motto too.
After sitting down to a delicious breakfast I made this morning for my future in-laws, my father-in-law looked at me and said, “why are your home fries so good?” My answer: “Bacon Fat.” He then said, “But we aren’t having bacon…” and I said, “That is what the jar of bacon fat in my fridge is for, emergencies such as this.”

Having something in my house like that would backfire on me. Not because I’m a vegetarian – let’s pretend I wasn’t. If I had that in my house, every time I would start to freak out about something, the Husband would either shove that magnet in my face or scream BACON really loudly.
