Thirsty Thursday.
It was a smoothie kind of day.
But not just any old smoothie kind of day.
Once afternoon snack time rolled around, I made it into afternoon snack happy hour.
Greek yogurt + ice + honey drizzle + cocoa powder + bananas + ….Baileys.
Hopefully I won’t be passed out on the couch by the time Mr. How Sweet gets home.

Have you tried the Caramel Bailey’s with a hint of mint? There are no words :)
I have not!
I think you are brilliant. And I could use one of those right now. Leaving work in 3..2…1…
mmmm:) i fully support this.
wow! That looks delicious! top it with some of that spiked whipped cream and it’s a really happy happy hour :)
i agree, it is a smoothie kind of day!
Oh i have posted about my love of bailey’s so many times.
I’d like to pass out on the couch right about now..it looks awesome! :)
That is my kind of smoothie!
Oh, anything with Bailey’s makes a drink into heaven. :-)
This is fantastic! Can I have it for breakfast too? It’s Happy Hour SOMEWHERE…right?
Godiva liquor (original chocolate and white chocolate!) are also fantastic! This smoothie looks delicious!
I agree! I LOVE them. Have them both here. :)
haha, I love it!
…and this is why you are one of my favorite bloggers.
OHHHH yes.
Love the adult smoothie.
….now this is why you are the best!!!! To do tomorrow: (1) go buy new blender (mine died yesterday); go to Liqour Store and get Baileys LOL!!!
LOLOL! was this a breakfast smoothie? girl you speak my language.
Nice touch! I could use a shot of Bailey’s right now!
Hehe! I could have used a smoothie like that after work today!
Bottoms up!!!
Hahaha, such a great idea. I am sure Mr. How Sweet asked for one when he got home. After all, it tastes so much better than Diet Coke!
omg this sounds amazing!!! baileys is so delicious. love those irish coffees : )
ps do you have a book yet?!
Hey Jessica – the PA state stores are having a clearance sale this week and a couple of the Baily’s flavors were on sale! Flavored vodkas, mojitos, all kinds of good stuff for summer. We were like kids in a candy store (ok, really adults in a liquor store!)
Umm i’d like to come over please.now
Mmmmm – you should try Bailey’s spiked frosting on a chocolate cake. Do it… Or Pinnacle whipped cream vodka in hot chocolate. It got me through a verrrry cold day of tailgating a few months ago.
*laughs and laughs* At the first photo, I thought “this looks exactly like the smoothie I made yesterday!” Then I kept reading and, phwoar. They couldn’t have been more different :P
Oh my gosh Bailey’s in a smoothie! I’ve had it in hot chocolate, in coffee, and on top of my ice cream but I’ve never had anything like this. Mmmm I think I know what I’m making this weekend!
Love this! Is it acceptable for me to have this as my morning smoothie? On the way to work? :-)
Hehe :-) That is how I want to spend my day!!!
Where were you when I needed a smoothie this afternoon.
Seriously, I love the stuff you come up with!! This looks sooooo good!
It’s official.
I heart you.
(even though you keep posting amazing cake batter recipes and I can’t find yellow cake batter here in Scotland!)
I love Bailey’s! This looks so refreshing and perfect after a long day!
I am definitely bookmarking this one. Think I can put a bit of Bailey’s into the kids’ smoothies to liven things up around here? (JUST KIDDING!!!)
That looks scrumptious! Were you still awake when Mr. How Sweet got home?
Mmmm, Bailey’s is the best. I’ve never thought to put it in a smoothie though! I’ve gotta do that!
Oh girl.. you make me jealous!! Just one more month and I can have one of those. :)
Love that you drink during the day!
LOL! It was at like 4:45. I’m not throwing back shots mid-day. :)
I LIKE it!

And just when I was trying to convince myself smoothies are healthy! This one sounds a little more fun than the one I’m blending with strawberries, blueberries, kale, spinach and protein pwdr. Yours sounds much more yummy!
