I hope you all have a fabulous and delicious 4th of July! And that you eat lots of cupcakes.
If today is just a regular Monday for you… you eat lots of cupcakes too. It will make Monday so much better. I promise.
[I'll see you tomorrow with something freakishly amazing and triple-layered. Any guesses?]

I’m Jessica and this is where I share my stuff. You will find a balance of healthy recipes, comfort food and indulgent desserts.
Happy Fourth, Jessica! Hope you and Mr Sweet are enjoying your day! And I hope you guys have a chill and mellow holiday :)

Happy 4th to all my American friends! I’ll have to take your advice Jessica and eat cupcakes as it’s just a regular Monday here in Ireland. It’s sunny though :)

Chocolate & peanut butte layered deliciousness? Maybe that is just wishful thinking….. Happy 4th and those cupcakes look awesome! YUMMMMMM!

Ooooh, I’m eagerly awaiting tomorrow’s post! I can’t even begin to guess what it could be, because with you Jessica, one never knows! :)

I stumbled upon your website recently and now have it on my Bookmarks menu…just LOVE it and your fun, unique voice! Anyway, I have a favorite Mixed Berry Cobbler recipe (Dorie Greenspan) that is fabulous but when I saw your Skillet Strawberry Cobbler it looked so good I had to try it. While it came out looking wonderful, I have to say that there was a tinny/metal like after taste to the fruit. I’m more than a little baffled since I’m a very decent baker. Could that possibly be because of the cast iron skillet? Did I do something wrong in the prep with the skillet? Can’t quite figure it out and hoping that you can!
Happy 4th of July and Merci Beaucoup for your help!

And….is it tiramisu??! Or, some kind of napoleon ice cream or cake?! Oyyy I can’t wait to see :)

A trifle cupcake?
Instead of cutting everything up and putting it in a bowl, putting berries and whipped cream between slices of a cupcake, topped with more berries and whipped cream?
Yummmm.

I just wanted to say thank-you for recognizing that to many people, July 4th, was just a regular Monday. I am one of those who do not celebrate holidays and I thank-you for that respect you offered to me. Have a lovely week ahead. Happy baking, too! Love your recipes.
