Ok when I first saw the picture of your playlist I saw “Jersey” and immediately thought it said “Jersey Shore” — and I thought those fools make music now too?? Thank God it was Jersey Boys!!!

What the heck did I do today: worked, ran, lifted weights, ate BLTs and sweet potato fries for dinner and I’m about to watch the Project Runway season premiere!

Those are sweet shoes!! So cool that they might even have the power to help motivate me to exercise…or at least run around the kitchen finishing off our butter supply…

Bella is sooo cute!! And I want those cookies. LOVE your blog! Esp. all the cake batter treats.

I got stuff organized for college move in day, packed a little, caught up (kinda) on laundry that’s been neglected all week since I’ve been half dead/sick all week, and made myself a salsa/pepper jack cheeseburger. Yum. Now time to pack for my last church getaway this weekend…

Your pup is so flipping adorable! What did I do today? got to work by 7:30 and actually got a lot done, argued with CVS/prescription insurance/health insurance for over an hour and a half (still not resolved – not a happy girl), dyed my hair, and made “twix” brownies for my hubby, who gets home after a week+ of business travel tomorrow! hurrah for that!

I took new running shoes out of the box yesterday! I had them on hand from the Nike store. I always have a pair waiting in the wings.

    Nice road trip treats!

How did you get your pics like this? I love them!! The black borders, the squares, then being able to add the written text on them. Inquiring minds would love to know!!!

    Reply

    • Jessica — July 29th, 2011 @ 5:18 am

Girl all I did was upload my instagram pics! I think the black border is from the filter I used, but all of my instagram pics come up square. I don’t size them or anything, just send them to my email and download to my comp. You should be able to write a “caption” on all of your photos that you upload – it’s in the step before you hit “insert in post!”

      Reply

      • Averie @ Love Veggies and Yoga — July 29th, 2011 @ 5:28 am

        Oh good info!

All my pics that I have posted to IG are automatically square too! I always use different filters, i.e. Hefe, Nashville, Normal, etc..so I guess that’s why mine all seem so different looking.

And the label “Caption” writing…I never paid attn to that in wordpress but I am going to now!

Blogging 101, eh? Hard to believe I’ve written 1000++ posts and some days I feel like I’m a virgin :)

Sounds like a fun day! Bella is way too cute for words. I bet she’s happy to be with her doggy-family, but no doubt she will miss her people-family. I picked up a mirror from a high school friend that she had redone herself into “shabby-chic”, I LOVE IT! I also browsed at my local Borders – so sad they’re closing…then I came home and made Janetha’s healthy mac & cheese and baked chicken strips – SO FREAKING GOOD. Now I’m going to put my feet up and look through my new Williams Sonoma Cooking at Home cookbook that i scored for $6.39 :)

Yesterday was a sweet day! It was sunny for almost the first time all summer! I actually wore shorts! (B.C. has had the coldest summer! I think 27 degrees C. has been the high temp). I went shopping across the border in bellingham with my sisters and sister-in-law, read Little Women, went to a friends for supper and then went to bed early! It was a fabulous summery day!
