How was yours?
I’m Jessica and this is where I share my stuff. You will find a balance of healthy recipes, comfort food and indulgent desserts.
I am madly, passionately, inexplicably in love with food. Bacon makes me beam. Chocolate makes me shout from the rooftops with joy. Vegetables and I are the best of frenemies. My perfect world would include none of them.

Looks like you had so much fun! Yesterday my parents threw me a bacon-palooza party for my graduation(chocolate covered bacon cake was featured) then I went to my favorite restaurant and today was my birthday so I got to eat junk all day and justify it. So fun. I’m now a college grad, older and chubbier. Successful weekend! !

Thanks! At my bacon-palooza my mom made these little bacon potatoes from pinterest that you would love! It seems so simple but they’re SO GOOD. Try them now.

Yours looks like it was tastier than mine. The tomatoes in that first pic look like they would melt in your mouth. Yum!

Here I was thinking I had a good weekend, but yours tops mine. Invite me to your next one? ;)

It was lovely – Christmas shopped, went to Trader Joes and spent too much money (fyi – vanilla bean 2 packs for cheap!), won a Target gift card in a white elephant auction, and “ran out of time” to clean my bathroom. Not too shabby. Thanks for asking :-)

not so great. i had a sleep study, where basically they put you in the most uncomfortable bed ever, hook you up to a million wires, and expect you to sleep. not fun. i want some of your weekend. it looks tasty.

Yesterday started off yuk but my 15 year old niece texted and told me we were headed for Boston and the pay by the pound thrift store – for $5.10 I got 2 pairs of jeans a pair of pants and the best pj bottoms ever! For $15 she got a hat (new) a vest from the 60s and 7 sweaters! Ohhh and we got to hang out! Best! Night! Ever! Then I woke up sick as a dog today and fell and broke a tooth. But overall I’m considering this weekend a win!

I have decided that the word ‘weekend’ is bad, because it tells you its going to ‘end’ before it even gets started.

I miss your posts on the weekend! I made your cake batter pancakes, love love love!

Love it :) My weekend was pretty quiet, a bit of baking, shopping and yoga – the usual really! But it’s my birthday on Wednesday, hopefully I can crank things up a bit before the weekend comes around again ;)

Caprese on toast? I just had a caprese salad at one of my have restaurants and Instagram’d it. So yummy! Looks like you have a great weekend! I finally got my tree up and partied by making lots of tamales with the girls. ;)

The first pic, is that roasted peppers with basil and balsamic on a baguette? It looks so good! I’m in need of a good french bread with goodies on top! Dam!! Looks like a great weekend!

Obviously nowhere near as good as yours! Kahlua, brie, cheesecake, oh, my… Next weekend, I’m extending it to a 3 day, my 56th is on the 19th, and I am going out to a divine Swiss chocolatier/bakery for my cake, chocolate decadence torte, positively sinful! Of course, it’s calorie free, birthday cake always is, so I plan to enjoy! Happy holidays to you and yours!

The weekend was rushed but amazing … I am actually trying to get to this one to get to my vacation!!!

WOW! I just love your photography and how you showed your life through photos. My secret fantasy (ok not so secret now) is to start a food blog. There’s something about photographing your life through food that is so inspiring. It might help me to not eat so much junk food if I knew I was going to photograph it. Have a great week and thanks for sharing.

Looks like you had a good weekend…food, wine and dogs. Doesn’t get much better than that.
I hosted a cookie swap on Saturday where we consumed massive amounts of sweets, dips and wine. Sunday consisted of more eating and lots of naps.

Let’s see…..cleaned our old apartment, cleaned it some more, and then cleaned a little more, turned in the keys to our old apartment, finished shopping for our Xmas decor, and were bums on the couch. Oh and ate at Cracker Barrel! Sooo yummy :) Can you please start cooking for me on the weekends? I’m too lazy and ended up eating a sandwhich and a cookie on saturday and cheese yesterday.

looks like a wonderful weekend! actually our weekend looked very similar, except the Christmas party/wine drinking lead to our hangover pancake breakfast…

Finished decorating the tree, spent afternoon with niece Fallon, getting pedicures, eating Mexican food at the El Palomar on the beach, watch boats sail in and out of the harbor. Lovely!

What a fun weekend – puppy, pizza, pancakes, and pretty tree! :)
I finally put lights on my tree, I am still lacking in ornaments…

The weekend was quite good. Saturday went Christmas shopping and then out to lunch with my mom. Sunday got our tree and decorated it! Sadly, no cookies involved.

I worked all weekend. I actually consider my weekend Monday-wednesday, since those are the days I have off from work. So today I went to Target (my happy place away from home), tomorrow I am going shopping and to Trader Joe’s (where I will do some serious damage to my credit card), and Wednesday is appointment day along with preliminary mandatory court reporting meeting day. I’m in the long stretch now with school, 3 more years and I’m finally DONE!!
