Saucy Buffalo Chicken Lettuce Cups [Giveaway!]
The buffalo chicken obsession continues!
I was sent a boatload of Saucy Mama goodies, and obviously I chose to use their buffalo wing sauce to create a delicious recipe.
You can never go wrong with buffalo sauce!
So buffalo dishes are usually pretty manly, huh?
Well, Mr. How Sweet wasn’t too thrilled about the lettuce replacing a bun, but since I added cheese and peanuts on top, he ate it. It was delicious. Even he thought so. But he’s embarrassed to admit it because “real” men don’t eat meat out of lettuce cups. My rebuttal was that “real” men don’t have 4,321 diecast toy cars. Oh well.
Winner, winner chicken dinner!

8 lettuce leaves
4 ounces grilled chicken, shredded

i would make my new favorite- nachos but instead of chips, thinly slices and fried then baked potatoes, i would top them with beans, cheese, and alllllll the sauces ( prob one at a time, but who knows it could get crazy in there with saucy mama!)
Ok, given your distaste for vegetables, I too am shocked that you put these in lettuce cups! They’re really pretty. I’d totally make those buffalo chicken burgers you posted a while back with this buffalo sauce. And as a side, maybe a tangy slaw using the lime chipotle sauce. Yummm…
I can handle plain lettuce! :)
I’m a simple kinda gal: buffalo chicken sandwiches!
I’d immediately snag that sweet onion marinade and get some chicken coated in it. But more importantly, I’d hand the buffalo wing sauce right over to my husband, who makes some pretty killer chicken wings on the grill. I’ll let him do the hard work while I just enjoy the end result. :)
Hmmm, I think I would toss some veggies in the Cracker Pepper sauce. Oooo I know – marinate some shrimp in the Lime Chipotle. My husband would SO love that. Or maybe just make this recipe :) Way too many possibilities!
Chicken Burgers, Marinate some nice rib eyes….so many things you could do with these!
ooh, how fun!
I seriously need to make a buffalo chicken pizza already! That’s a plan for one of these football- filled Saturdays :)
Also, that mustard sounds like it will be AMAZING in salad dressings or on sandwiches.
Mmm, I love lettuce wraps! I would also love to use the sweet onion or the lime chipotle to marinate veggies to roast…holy yum. (I hope you don’t hate me for saying I’d use them for veggies!! At least I’m attempting to make them tastier for you. :-))
Those lettuce cups look delish! With the Saucy Mama products I would make buffalo wings, dips, salads, and (of course) those adorable lettuce cups! Great giveaway! :-)
Ooo right away the cracked pepper intrigued me. I think this would be great to marinate extra-firm tofu in for several hours then add it into an Asian stif-fry.
Or I can see doing a shredded chicken or pork in the Lime Chipotle and make them into enchiladas.
YUM!
I would put the buffalo sauce on some turkey meatloaf…mmm. I would probably put it on everything and take the leftovers and mix them ip with veggies for a sandwich or wrap!
lime chipotle chicken on the grill!!!! oh, with corn on the cob too. YUM!
I love your blog I read it all the time!!
I would probably marinate chicken breasts in the lime chipotle or shred some chicken and dress it up with that hot wing sauce… like your beautiful lettuce cups! YUM.

That looks amazing!! I’d make some spicy (hot wing), greasy, yet gluten free sausage balls with the new gluten free bisquick!! Yum!
I would whip up some veggie concoction, Saucy Mama style!
Oh. My. I need some of this! I don’t really like chicken, but in a good marinade I can definitely scarf some down. Pick me!
Nachos!
Ahh the sweet onion sounds delicious for marinating chicken!!!!
Mmm, looks delicious! I would use the buffalo wing sauce on buffalo chicken pizza…or maybe in my buffalo chicken dip for football season!

Oh my goodness! I want, I want, I want! This looks delicious. Oh and my manly man husband would eat it. :-)
I LOVE BUFFALO/HOT SAUCES! I actually collect them and have an obsession with trying new ones. In Key West, there is a hot sauce bar, where you can go in and taste hundreds of bottles. It’s amazing and I like to go with my dad (whom I inherited my love of spice from!). For our birthdays we always exchange hot sauces, and I know he would love for me to make him birthday dinner (next month!) with any of these Saucy Mama’s sauces. I put Frank’s Red Hot on EVERYTHING, and I would love love love to try Saucy Mama! Thanks :)
I’m a huge fan of the smoky flavor of chipotle, so I’d probably try to develop a dish using the lime chipotle marinade and some avocado chunks and something from the grill….who knows what….
Can I make those lettuce cups? YUM!
I would probably just drink the buffalo wing sauce for dinner…I mean, make buffalo chicken dip with it of course!
I would marinade some ground buffalo in them and make patties. Another possibility would be to use one of the sauces in the slow cooker with some chicken, shred it, and put in lettuce wraps for lunch.
Great, now new ideas will be popping in my head for the rest of the day! :-P
I would make what you just made! I don’t eat a lot of meat, but that looks yummyyyy. Anything wrapped in lettuce it so good, plus, I’m craving buffalo anything at the moment, lol!
I’ve been wanting to try a southwestern chicken salad. The chipotle mustard would be perfect with some plain yogurt, black beans and corn, making a smoky/tangy alternative to regular old chicken salad. YUM!
