It looks amazing!
I need a recipe for those potatoes and the drink at the pool. Soon. Looks AMAZING!
Wish I was at Kennywood eating Potato Patch fries!!! What a perfect weekend
looks like fun. i love these instagram photo posts. keep ’em coming! :)
aw man ur serious about not picking up your DSLR again aren’t you?
looks lovely! I love the photo effects!
Oh man, Pittsburgh is my hometown and your Kennywood photos just made me incredibly homesick! Mmmm… Potato Patch fries.
Ditto. Potato Patch Fries rank number two on my list of favorite places in Pittsburgh area to get french fries with cheese… Of course, my number one spot is The Original Hot Dog Shop in Oakland. Have you been there yet? Soooo delicious. I actually don’t like their hot dogs, though.
I haven’t been there in YEARS! Probably 10-15 years. I need to go!
Looks beautiful. Tried your chickpea salad recipe this weekend – bacon, genius!
That ice cream cookie sandwich looks so delicious!!!
Epitome of a summer weekend!
And is that dazzleglass I spy??
Oh yes. I have quite the insane collection.
Awww…. I hate you so much for posting Potato Patch fry pictures. I miss my hometown like crazy and pictures of Kennywood just make me super jealous :) But I’d agree, that sounds like a perfect Sunday!
instagram = best app ever.
so beautiful. i want to experience all of these pictures. :)
you’re never going back to your DSLR for out-and-about pics, are you? :)
i have to know what’s going on in that potato dish. green onions, parsely, a few kinds of cheese?
Love it! No words, just pictures (except the three wonderful words at the end).
You’ve inspired me yet again, Jessica.
Ice cream sandwich, corn, and roasted potatoes. I want.
Oh my! Where’d you get that pink make up bag? :) I luuuurve it
It’s actually an old Vera Bradley mini clutch – back from when Vera was fairly new and didn’t have 8 million items.
The extent to which you love (and use) your iphone for blogging makes me want one…not for anything else but instagram.
Beautiful pictures! I need to take a lesson in how to use a camera. :)
psssst: I only use my phone! I need camera lessons too, really.
Looks like you had a great day! Love the pics :)
1. OMG, CHEESE FRIES!
2. What’s Kennywood? I’m guessing an amusement park. Brought to you by Kenny Rogers? Like the dude version of Dollywood?
Yep it is, and no, nothing to do with Kenny Rodgers… hahaha. We were there for my husband’s company picnic.
your Sunday was definitely better than mine. Hope the rest of your week goes just as well
Okay, it’s official. You must have had the most sinfully delicious and perfect weekend ev-AR.
Kennywood! I haven’t been there, or had potato patch fries in almost 6 years! :( Thanks for the pics! and are ALL of these shots just taken with your iPhone, using Instagram? b/c they look awesome.
Yep they are!
KENNYWOOD! Potato Patch fries WITH cheese is the only way to go! Love the pic’s! Brought me back to my childhood trips with the grandparents to Kennywood.
OMG. A way to start off a Monday morning is to NOT see Potato Patch fries… OH MY… that’s just not nice.
Looks like an incredble weekend!
ummm…can I have a cheese fry?
What a fabulous weekend! I am loving your photos from your Iphone!
Kennywood! I go every year with my family! Seriously my favorite park ever!
someone get me an iphone, stat.
I LOVE ALL OF THESE PICS!!!!!!!
Ohhh, Jessica where’d you get that pink clutch? So pretty!
I agree; where the recipe for that potato concotion!
And, is the escalator pic from the Pittsburg Zoo…I am guessing no since everything is Kennywood, but I was at the Pitts Zoo once and it that is what it made me think!
I’ve been hearing about Kennywood for many years from my best friend, who comes from western PA. Another place she went to all the time was Idlewild Park. Any of you guys from up there ever heard of it?
Yep I don’t live too far away – used to go every summer! It is geared more towards younger kids and families so I haven’t been there in a few years.
What photoshop do you use??? I love those picture affects!
Looks like fun…..I love the wordless post – the pictures really were worth a thousand words!
OMGGGGG potato patch fries!!!!! I may need to go there right this minute now.

Potato-freaking-patch fries. OH yes! :D
I am a horrible reader and am just now catching up…but I LOVE KENNYWOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I learned a valuable lesson at Kennywood last summer. If the Thunderbolt’s sign says the heavier person should sit on the right….THEY SHOULD SIT ON THE RIGHT.
