when I saw the glowing necklaces on my instagram feed at about 3am last night, I knew your weekend was going pretty well :)
and then when I saw that you hadn’t used any butter at all this weekend..ahem :)… I knew it was going even better!
glow bracelets <3 oh the memories!!
I used about the same amount of butter today making 5 different cookies and fudge. My arteries feel clogged from just looking at it all!
LOVE. the first picture. So amazing!
Also–I MUST know–what color are those MAC shadows? That pink one is to die for!
The pink is Hepcat, the greenish one is Steamy and the Urban Decay is X!
Um, gorg. Definitely will be purchasing Hepcat soon–thank you!
BTW, Nars Orga…yeah is my fave. How is it that a peach color can look so fab on everyone? I’m only assuming it’s magic.
Hepcat is my FAVORITE! I like to wear it with my Grape pigment…love MAC.
Love your pictures! Looking at them really helped put me in the holiday spirit :D
Makes me wanna have glass of wine… Right now! :)
i was obsessed with glow bracelets when i was little (ok, still am.) looks like you had a fun weekend :)
May I borrow some of your Christmas cheers? Danke schoen :)
That first picture is so beautiful. I swear, food is my porn.
You totally inspired me to finally order the Hope in a tinted moisturizer! Thanks :)
I am dying to know how the glow stick bracelets tie into the wintery/Christmas theme here..
i just made your chocolate peanut putter crispies and ohmygosshhhhhhhh!! they are so delicious!! thanks for sharing, it totally made my weekend!
I LOVE this time of year!!!
And I feel so very fortunate to be food blogging, and to have “met” you!
Oh, how I love my life!!
All those butter wrappers…oh my gosh! Love, love, love it. ‘Tis the season, right? :)
The Urban Decay is in my fave shade! Love, love, love glow bracelets, necklaces, etc, even at my ‘advanced’ age, and I gotta say, you obviously didn’t spend much time in the kitchen, very little butter, and for shame, NO BACON! That’s ok, I think bacon will be dinner tonight… Right before the omg chocolate decadence torte birthday cake! I so love having all the bakeries here in Portland! Happy holidays, and big hugs for Bella!
Although I don’t want snow, there needs to be some on the ground soon.
Hmmm, what are you whipping up a batch of now? Can’t wait to find out!
Photos are gorgeous :)
@Jessica – A big fat THANK YOU for putting me back in the holiday spirit! Between being sick and throwing out my back this weekend, I was ready to just call off the holidays and hide under my covers until the New Year. After looking at your pictures though I’m ready to start blaring Christmas music again and dive back in to the cookies. (That is once my taste buds are back and the diving will be done slowly until the back is 100%!!)
P.S. Is that snow in that one picture? I only ask because Dallas doesn’t seem to understand the concept of the white stuff falling from the sky. Jealous!!
LOVE these posts of pictures and of the holidays! Just puts me in a good mood… LOVE this time of year!
I love the empty butter wrappers!
Love McCormicks and Schmicks too! Yummm…their $10 lunch specials are truly amazing. Yo r pic of our little snow dusting in the ‘Burgh was beautiful…..here’s to hoping we get a little bit more just to make it feel Christmas-y. Merry Christmas Jess and may you and Mr. How Sweet have a wonderful New Year!
all signs of a great weekend.
Love the butter wrappers pic–while I was trail running this weekend I was dreaming up a custom screen printed Tshirt for myself with something like “Powered by butter” on it. (Or, maybe “Powered by butter and baked goods”…with drawings of cookies, breads, muffins and waffles…) Happy baking!
My favorite picture is the butter wrappers, you know, because I have that same scene in my kitchen on a regular basis. :)
Love that last pic!!
Is that Hepcat from MAC I see? My absolute favorite shade from them!!!
That batter. Wow.
