thank you to those who gave their lives for our country & those who continue to protect. xoxo
THANK YOU for this post. I was kinda disappointed to see that so many bloggers did a roundup of recipes that would be “fun” for a “memorial day bbq party,” without even once mentioning the true meaning of memorial day. Sure, have your BBQ and your delicious feasts, but at least take a moment to remember what this day is truly meant to commemorate. Day after day, you continue to be my all time favorite food blogger.
A beautiful post!!
Thanks for the pic of the triangle. I don’t get back to my childhood home very often. Crazy how most of the food blogs I follow seem to originate from Pgh!! Love the salute to the troops!
We have the same name. I thought I got drunk and commented yesterday for a second. :)
Jess how do YOU stuff your eggs?
hi judy! i actually never made deviled eggs – my mom always does! i think she just fills them with a spoon (she doesn’t have a pastry bag or anything) – but these ones were made by my aunt. she happened to tell me that she started filling them with a star pastry tip and then it broke, so i think she continued with a big circle tip!
God bless America and God bless our troops both past and present. I love reading your blog posts. The way you write makes me smile and sometimes actually LOL. Keep up the great work and being yourself! It is enjoyable to read!
