Hiiiii.
So. I know I’m not a huge giveaway person, but I am totally blown away by your support and love and all that jazz lately, especially for Seriously Delish and how you’ve completely changed my life. I want to do, well… SOMETHING for each and every one of you and since I can’t buy you all a cocktail with a hug, I figured a giveaway of my favorite things would have to do.
This giveaway is from ME to YOU. I want to show you how much I appreciate you coming here everyday, the encouragement you’ve given me and your all around virtual fabulousness. You really do complete me, Jerry Maguire style. THANK YOU!
See below on how to enter to win all of these goods!Â
1. This Rebecca Minkoff Crosby tote. It’s no secret how much I love love love my mac clutch bags and mini macs. And my cupid satchel. I love every bag she makes and am totally drooling over this for fall.
2. Jeni’s ice cream! 4 pints to be exact. This should last you, like… five minutes.
3. A Vitamix blender. I’ve become the biggest hypocrite on the planet because for years I said I’d never buy one and would rather buy shoes. But I took the plunge earlier this year and it was seriously LIFE CHANGING. Talk about the thickest milkshake-like smoothies and the creamiest soups. To die for.
4. One year subscriptions to my favorite foodie magazines: Donna Hay and Delicious. These are my go-to for photography inspiration. LOVE. Nothing else compares in my opinion.
5. A fit bit flex. It’s been close to a year since I’ve gone on and on about my fit bit. I completely adore it – not as a workout tool, but more so as a reminder to live an active lifestyle.
6. Two of my favorite books: the Flavor Bible and Bird by Bird. One of the most frequently asked questions I get is how do I come up with recipes – and one of the answers is the Flavor Bible! If I really want to make something with a certain ingredient, I’ll search it and see what flavors pair the best. And Bird by Bird… well it’s a classic that gets me through life. Pretty much.
7. Ummm…. chocolate? Do I really need to explain this one? This is one of my favorites. I need to share.
8. Gift cards to some of my favorite places: $50 to each. One to Sephora, one to Athleta and one to Starbucks. Because I’m a sucker. (if you don’t like coffee GET THE CROISSANT!)
And lastly – this colorful set of my favorite le pen pens and a moleskin notebook (MY LOVE!). It’s school supply time people!! But really, these pens are the bomb dot com. (sorry.)
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment below telling me your magic moment from this summer. Please be sure to leave a valid email address with your comment so I can contact you if you win! This giveaway is open to residents EVERYWHERE! All over the place. If you’re overseas I obviously can’t send you the ice cream, but we will work something else out.
For an extra entry, I would love if you’d preorder a copy of Seriously Delish and leave a second comment saying you did so. You can do so on amazon, barnes and noble or indiebound – and the book will be yours in less than TEN days! EEEEEK! I cannot thank you guys enough for helping me to make the book a bestseller. I adore you to pieces. (and if you preordered months ago, thank you and leave your second comment!) Also, be sure to check my book tour dates to see if I’ll be in your area!
The giveaway will run until this Friday, August 29. The winner will be announced on this post and contacted by email. THANK YOU!

My best moment this summer is the day my best friend and sister made up after a fight, I know that may sound stupid, but it was a big weight off my shoulder. We are going to the Kit Kat Lounge this Sunday for my sisters bday, hopefully that will trump the “make up”.
Aww my magical moment of the summer was celebrating my 2 year anniversary with my boyfriend in NYC! =) Great giveaway, thank you!
Awesome giveaway! Many of my favorite things as well:) My favorite moment of the summer was when I realized that after 7 years (and 2 kids) I could finally sit in a beach chair and read a magazine while on vacation.
Hmmmm… picking just one magic moment of my summer will be pretty difficult! (I’m just going to write two :P) First, I spent 6 weeks away from home, in Washington DC. That whole experience was just awesome! Being there really helped me realize what my post-college goals are! It also solidified the fact that I really really REALLY want to move to DC after graduation in May!
My second moment (however cheesy and kiss up-y this is) is when you replied to me on twitter! I’ve been reading your blog and following your life (creepy, sorry) since I was 16! I’m 20 now, and just having someone who has been a fixture in my daily life actually acknowledge my existence was pretty awesome!!
I also preordered Seriously Delish back in July! I don’t know if I can wait until Tuesday to get it…
My magical moment was meeting the wonderfully happy children of Siem Reap in Cambodia. They live with so little but find the joy in the smallest items…no soccer ball…that’s ok we will just kick a water bottle around instead. Makes my heart melt!
ps…Donna Hay + amazing!

Magical moment of summer: when a cashier at Trader Joe’s in DC gave my 90 year old grandmother, who had just moved to DC to be closer to me and my husband after a really trying ordeal in Florida, a bunch of sunflowers to welcome her to DC! My grandma has been through SO much this past year and it was such a kind gesture. She and I both cried :)

My magic moment was being asked to be a bridesmaid by my best friend following her surprise engagement. I’ve never been a bridesmaid before and I’m 40!!! I’m as excited as I would have been as a six year old! She’s only having two bridesmaids, and the other bridesmaid is my sister. You can tell how excited I am by the number of times I have used the word bridesmaid in this comment – so imagine how many times I have said it in real life!! And because she is such an amazing best friend, as she had let us chose both the colour and style of our dresses – a truly magic moment!!
My magic moment was finally marrying my man after being together for almost 10 years. It was an amazing day and we had the best day of our lives surrounded by our family and close friends =)<3
This summer, my magical moment was getting to drive a real NASCAR stock vehicle out at the tracks. It was an exhilarating adrenaline rush, and an experience I’ll never forget.

My magic moment from this summer was hiking up to the top of a mountain in Maine with my husband and 6 year old son, then just standing at the top looking at the mountains around us and the lakes below us and being blown away at God’s goodness. To be in such a perfectly beautiful place with my two favorite people in the whole world was overwhelming in its beauty.

My Magical Moment of summer 2014 ~ August 15th. My oldest daughter was accepted into the Disney College Program and had been living in Southern California for the past semester. It was too far away and I was too sad and missed her too much…and on August 15th, her internship was completed – and she chose to come HOME <3 !!! And once again, my heart was whole and my world complete! She may be bigger and older now, but she will always be my baby :)
Oh! I pre-ordered your book. YAY
There are so many magic moments when you have a 4 year old and 2- 2 year olds. I had a mommy and oldest weekend an that was awesome!

Hey there. My magic moment for summer would be my visit to South Korea, Seoul, with my friend! Great food, shopping and culture, I loved the visits to the Royal Palaces and gardens. It was better than I had expected, because I’ve always known more about the Japanese culture but less so about the Korean culture. I love getting to know different cultures, including their food and architecture style, when I travel, and I’m looking forward to visiting some parts of Europe again, USA, and cover more parts of Asia too : ) Never stop discovering! Thank you for the giveaway, I really hope to win this! x :) cheers
I just preordered my copy of the cookbook today from Amazon.. So excited…I will get it on my birthday! :-)
My magic moment from this summer was a river trip with all of my favorite people. Sun, cocktails, food and friends. My favorite things.
